Specialist: Flash Bang
The white screen effect of Flash Bang has been removed. Instead the enemy who has been hit by Flash Bang is now stunned for a certain amount of time:
Lv. 1: 1.9s
Lv.2: 2.5s
Lv.3: 2.9s
Lv.4: 3.3s
Lv.5: 4.0s

Please test this change and give feedback.

 

 

Monster Card System
The blend success rate has been increased from 25% to 33%. When using a Card Insurance Scroll the success rate will increase to 50%.
 

 

UI Enhancement: "New Quest" Dialog
The "New Quest" Dialog has been enhanced. The "New Quest" Dialog is the dialog that comes up when you have new quests available and you click on the red or yellow exclamation mark above your level indicator.

 

General changes
- the dialog is a bit wider in size so the name of the quests fit better

Hero Quest List
- nothing has changed to this list

 

Non-Hero Quest List (the list which contains all other types of quests)
- above the quest name now the quest type (Event, Repeatable, Daily, etc.)  is shown
- a quest type filter has been added to the dialog to hide unwanted quest types

Fixes
- fixed a bug that Cold Mossy Bone Gunstaff, Cold Mossy Bone Gauntlet, Fiery Cursed Bone Gunstaff and Fiery Cursed Bone Gaunlet were not able to cast skills or X-attack
- fixed a bug Cold Mossy Bone Gunstaff and Fiery Cursed Bone Gunstaff only had 30 durability instead of 120

Increase in the chances for cards ? Very nice. I really appreciate the team reading all the appeals in the forums. 

 

Also, I love all the changes in the UI as it is becoming more and more friendly. +1 to this and kudos to the team. :Emo_12:  :Emo_12:

4 seconds might be too long but then again Witch's curse lasts for like 12 seconds and Ninja's sleep powder for like 14 seconds. Rather than having long duration crowd control spells wouldn't it be better to reduce them to how long you need to actually make a combo with them? I do think destroyers needed some more crowd control so I love the new flashbang updates and thank you so much for the Monster card rates and quest UI. Really makes the game a lot more appealing to look at with each new UI update! Good job!

Because I think f2p games need systems that milk money from players for small benefits and skills/monster card insurances are a good one for that.

Because I think f2p games need systems that milk money from players for small benefits and skills/monster card insurances are a good one for that.


Problem is that those small benefits, although they don't give you a big advantage still give some. And that's pretty bad since it might affect your PvP experience, as it would mean that people that spend real money or thousands of hours for farming cards and money (since before this patch it's only 25 % of blending success) are in theory better than people that cannot spend that much time. Of course only a few skills really changes your life, such as slow heal, wood rush, and a few others skills. But they still need to be taken into account when you try to make a balanced experience.

I don't think there's enough skills that get significantly better with levels for it to matter from a balance perspective. Can't afford the time or the money? Don't go for lvl 10 barbarian, maybe go for lvl 8 instead (for a fraction of the price but most of the benefits). Not everybody can be the greatest and have everything. I just want these folks to have the most money and I don't think this was a good change from that perspective, although I doubt it matters much either way.

I'm glad they made the success rate to 50%. Now I can look at working on using all those monster coins I've saved up.

Servers are back up.

 

 

Please update the game to version 0.5.97.

The client will be at version 10.2.0.11 after patching

 

 

Additional changes:

- IM Skill Reset Scrolls can now be sold in Open Market / COD-Mailed Level 50+
- 92 new Daily Quests (Hunter G., Guild, Monster Card Quests) for Level 75+
