hey all,

I would like to make a woe monk, but Im still not very sure how re:start mechanics work.

does anybody know what a final stat would look like for a woe build monk.

what Im really wondering is if you still need 99 base dex

thanks

You shouldn't really need much dex at all anymore if all you'll be doing is g.fist.

It's not a prefect example, but the mechanics should be very close, so it'll give you an idea.

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't Gfist have a cast time hence Dex is actually quite useful? Gfist(skills that nullifies melee damage aside) hits no matter what but being cancelled 24/7 before a Gfist goes off can be problematic.

Int now lowers cast time too, and if I remember correctly there is a good part of the cast time that was "fixed cast time".
That part is removed here if I'm not too mistaken, which leads to a very low cast time anyways.

(4.5-0.5*skill lvl leads to 2s cast time which is then halfed because half of it is fixed ? And then halfed again because of high int ?)
Putting a bit of dex might help but we're far from the high dex requirement.
However I would be glad if some more experimented player could confirm that.

The problem in woe will mainly be the 10s cooldown.
It's huge and you won't be able to use sp pots during that time.
So I guess a build would be more 80+ str/70+ int and vit for survivability.
However that is an opinion as someone that hasn't played monk much, so take it for what it is.

Do not forget that crusader will come at some point and you will die to reflect. A lot. So don't go build max damage and forget that. You need to build for killing peco classes and also tank reflect damage.

Well as a monk you're suppose to figure out what character the crusader has Sacrifice and gf that person to kill the cursader. It should be a sage or wiz or a priest.
