Lets have a nice conversation on this, in the end what would the community want with this? Also I'm curious if popcorn has the ability to do these options.
1. Remove it
2. Keep it
3. Change it
The intent with death buffs were to help players regardless of being stacked or not durability in order to not die. This practically reinforced the fact that if you were to continuously die the buffs got better and that is the intent.
However who does it benefit the best? It scales with how stacked you are, so players that aren't as geared has little to no chance to kill someone that is extremely stacked, if they do manage to kill them its practically game over, you just made a monster. Taken to the extreme with max death buffs I've reached around 400-500k HP and that isn't really a healthy number to see. As a person who has gear ranging from basic to decently stacked I can literally taste the difference this death buff makes to those that aren't hyperstacked. I would like to either remove or change it to let it scale better with lower geared players vs the hyper stacked.
Now for the part 2 that will be relatively short. Hp this hp that the other thing the death buffs give is defense. That thing is complete garbage lol. Unless the hp buff completely underwhelms this buff.
I've seen some complaints abut death buffs on forums and wanted to make a topic on this. With this in mind if the death buffs are removed healers could have the possibility to increase the heal % in the future and let mages receive there roles back. There is an enormous difference between 150k hp or less vs 500k hp with healing %. One of the main contributing factors were death buffs, once a mage hits 300-500k hp and was healing 7.5% max hp every 3 seconds with wide heal and stuff game was busted. now if you can't go that high it would make sense to give healing some oomf to it, if not it's cool.
