Hi right now I have almost 500m zeny to spend on my soon to be genetic but dont know what equpment to buy with that zeny. Dont know if go and buy the cylinder or buy several more cheap equipment instead of just 1 item.

 

My current equipment its like this( yes it suck)

 

Helm: Crown of Deceit [1]

lower: ganster scarf

weapon  Twin Edge of Naght Sieger [3] red

Shield: Mad bunny shield

boots: Variant shoes

Garment: +7 Heroic Backpack

accesory: RCW pendant and ring

You can only use them at 160 or 170+ (if I recall correctly) and they are not easy to make. Cylinder however is ready to use, no cast CC at reduced SP cost.

Your most important investment to improve your overall effectiveness is your weapon.

 

A +10 or higher Crimson Mace (2x Archer Skeleton / 2x Hunter Fly) would be a good starting point if you are looking to reach higher damage thresholds. Holy Element or Neutral would probably be best.

 

Mad Bunny is my favorite shield, so you are probably fine there, plus it helps get uninterrupted casting.

 

Temporal boots (either dex or str) with EA / Lucky Day / Bear Power / Runaway Magic are viable depending on whether or not you get Cylinder.

 

And of course, Cylinder headband should be your #2 priority after a better weapon.

 

HBP will be fine for now, but an EA enchanted +9 FAW is much better, $$ though.

 

Other things to consider - Evil Dragon Armor, Blood Sucker, Malicious Shadow Set, Rideword Hat, Thanatos Hammer (Hunter Fly) can help significantly reduce your costs when leveling.

I think first thing you should get is cylinder. The more you delay it, the more expensive it might get. Crimson mace or temp boots will remain almost at the same price.

The "nerf" to Cylinder is reducing its 600% damage bonus, which now applies as an actual 600% bonus, to 60% or whatever it was. Nothing much will change.

Does it really increase the dmg by 600%? I just tested it on the official iRO server and it seems to be 60%.

It does increase damage by 600%, but works differently from what you think it should. Remember Cart Cannon has this damage formula:

Damage (ATK) = [Base_Damage + {(Cart_Remodeling_Lv × 50) × (INT ÷ 40)}]%

You expect the increase DMG by 600% is multiplicative, but it is additive right now. For example, with lv.5 Cart Cannon, your base damage is 300%. With Cart Remodeling lv.5 and INT 120, you get 5 * 50 * 120/40 = 750% additional damage. The total damage is 300% + 750% = 1050%, and the current Cylinder Formula adds 600% to the formula, so you get 1050% + 600% = 1650%. This is why you see about 60% increase in DMG(1650 / 1050), instead of 600% increase(which would have been 1050% * 600% = 6300%, too good to be true lol).

Medal of honor

RWC ring/pendant

sherif badge

 

Afther some testing I am using the medal of honor and the RWC ring since its give me the most increase on CC damage (dont have enough str yet to get the sherif badge str bonus yet). Its the ring of flame lord from ifrit worht getting as a cheap option or I am oka with what I have.
