That's the thing though, it should never have stayed unfixed that long to start with. What is this, Bethesda?

I think it's more accurate toe say Gravity is Bethesda and WP are authorized modders. That's why fixes that should be easy aren't. There's a limit to what the can change, and anything they do is a bit of a hack.

I think it's more accurate toe say Gravity is Bethesda and WP are authorized modders. That's why fixes that should be easy aren't. There's a limit to what the can change, and anything they do is a bit of a hack.


But then that means that Gravity must have left this card bugged for years as well on kRO, so the point still stands anyway.

And if it's NOT bugged there, it makes no sense for it to be bugged here either.

Might as well keep bugging them about it.

Imo, leaving a bug like that unfixed for as long as it's been just shows how little WP cares; might as well direct attention to it, eh?

From my understanding, the issue seems to be with the auto cast call. In the past kRO introduced a patch in regards auto cast and gears worn to cancel some of the effects, I won't be surprised if that broke something in the process. If anything, it is either script issue or server issue reading the auto cast call in proper manner. Being said, there is an ongoing issue with gears offering similar effects, in which unequipping them does not remove their effect unless the character relogs. Renewal servers suffer from this issue as well.

 

The report is still up for investigation, though there are no further updates yet.

It has not been fixed in years. Don't be surprised if you come back 10 years later to the same reply.

I'm pretty sure it's script issue, assuming if RMS script is accurate, the auto cast chance is not disabled at all. We just have to compare with the Rogue Card set, which disables wanderer card effect.

 

This is the Thief card set default script.

The difference is the intimidate cast chance [Poring]

 

I really don't see what else is there to investigate? the rogue set has a -20 (-2%) to disable the wanderer card +20 (2%) auto cast. 

 

I will keep bumping this thread until this is fixed. Really cant see why is it so hard to add one line of code into the set.

A fix has been applied today (Dec 27th maintenance).

Please test out the thief set and report back here with feedback, thank you.

I'm wondering what the attempted fix was. Can't be that hard to just change the script for the card to what the Rogue set does, surely?

Minor Update:

Apparently from what I have been told, this set is bugged on other official servers.

There are still attempts to be performed and tested, but it may change things for that specific set. The goal is to prevent it from auto casting Snatch when worn as a set.

 

Will keep sending a reminder to the staff about this on weekly basis, the last thing to be done is request a fix from kRO which I assume they have yet to deliver it since a long while(?), or fix the description to match the current issue.
