please help, i need a build for my swordie, knight and skills as well. im planning to make it into a vit type.

Re:Start has Renewal mechanics, so it favors hybrid-ish stats instead of classic Full-something stats spreads.

 

If you leave Vit at 80+, Str at 70+ and dex at 50+, and agi less than 40 you will have enough points remaining for about 30 points of Luck.

Luck in renewal gives you

 

-Attack

-Soft magic defense

-Critical rate

-Perfect Dodge

-Flee

-Hit

-Altered status resistance

 

I think is a good trade off. Also unless your are planning on going full tank, you´ll need some agi for the better spamming of your skills. This is even more true for Bowling Bash Vit knights, whose DPS increases greatly with better aspd. Also, a little bit of agi helps a lot levelling as swordie.

I am a hardcore trainer with swordy. I am lvl 70 right now with all NPC gear. My best gear is a +5 Two Handed Sword with Wolf card.

I went stat wise...

20dex
60str with job bonus
30dex
30vit
82str
Now pumping VIT again. Final number not sure but I have much time to figure it out.

This build hurts. You have no dodge and no VIT but you hit well enough if you have your sword.

I stayed in Payon for a long time because the loots there are good for building up some funds for pots. Opal especially.

Wolves loot sucks. You just hope for enough meats and monster feed to help with heals. If you find a card, use it. I didn't think twice and put it in my sword right away.

Toy Factory you have to be careful at first because Mamo from Case can kill you if HP below 700 or so.

If possible, get yourself snake hat. The faster you kill those cases, less you get Mamo x_X

This build hurts to play but when you hit Knight and get 2hd Quicken, you run over everything in TF. 1 VIT doesn't matter as much anymore since you get that huge HP jump from knight. Eventually, you start to not even flinch if get hit with Mamo.

Also, according to calculations, with 82 Str and BB 10, which you get at lvl 70 base if you skip Peco skills till later, you can basically 1HKO High Orcs with support from priest. Have not tested this yet though so can't say if true for sure. This is just with the weapon I mentioned im using at the moment.

Of course, if you have an ice claymore or even Ice two handed sword (easier to make due to materials needed), it is no duh you will 1HKO high orcs. Again, according to calc.

This is as far as have got myself. I'm currently sitting at 70. It's tough at this point to lvl VIT without gears but I knew that going in. I might have to farm with an alt to make money or gather materials and hope for a forger to help me out.
