It is stated that

 

Both Base Chance and Base Duration are affected by the difference between both the user's and target's DEX. (Chance, Duration)

 

so that means the total chance for level 5 divest weapon for example is 30% + [ (user dex-target dex)/5 ]%,

 

lets say our dex is 99 and target dex is 1, so the final total chance for level 5 divest weapon is 30% + (98/5)% = 49.6%, is this how we count the formula?

 

 

 

 

and what if it is the other way round,

 

our dex is 1 and target dex is 99, does that means the final total chance is 30% - 19.6% = 10.4%?

 

 

i saw it is written 5% minimum for the additional chance, does that mean no matter how negative the additional chance formula is, the lowest is 5%, does that means if our dex is 1 and target dex is 99, the final total chance is 30%+5%=35%?

 

i dont really understand what is stated in the irowiki website

Base chance is beleived to be 15% at level 5 regardless of the difference in dex, success rate increases by .5 per 1 dex IIRC.

ok thanks man, i saw in renewal irowiki http://irowiki.org/wiki/Divest_Armor the base chance at level 5 is 30%, does this means regardless of difference in DEX that is the minimum success rate?

For individual divest skills I guess that's accurate. I was referring to full divestment on my previous post.

As stated on the skill desc. It should be the base chance regardless of the difference in dex.
