Instead of saying  "[Random] guild occupied the [Valkyrie Guild 1] Agit"

                                                                     or [Valkyrie Realms 1] Agit"

IT SHOULD say   "[Random] guild occupied the [Krimhield] Agit"   (kriemhild is the name of valkyrie castle 1)

Cmon, what is hard about doing this?
Seeing the first one that say something like Britoniah Guild 4 agit or Valkyrie Realm 5 agit is just plain
BORING AND DULL!

#makeWOEgreatagain

@campitor pls :bow:

Agreed, actually.

The numbers are way easier to confuse as well.

One would think people would know the names after doing WoE for years ;)

Do the other servers show the names or numbers? I honestly don't remember.

iRO has always shown numbers. I've WoE'd for many years on iRO and only know numbers.

It seems silly to me to use numbers instead of perfectly usable names that are way more distinctive, but oh well.

I guess it's like iRO taking all the Norse mythology references out of bard/dancer skill names, lol.

In case y'all weren't aware - all the castles in Pront are named after valkyries from Norse mythology (hence "Valkyrie Realm"), while the Alde ones are named after actual castles in Germany, just as an example.

yep and all of valfreyja are names of freya

But iRO has always done numbers. Also the castles in payon on restart have different names to on classic/renewal

This is a case of Flavor vs QoL

Would it be more fancy to have castle names? Absolutely.

Is it simpler and easier to have castle numbers? Absolutely.

Am I really alone in thinking the names are easier to remember the positions of than the numbers? It would be flavour and QoL for me personally :heh:

Other servers use the numbers. Iro has always used numbers. Isn't there something else you could be complaining about?? Like the 7k bots? Or the lack of info on the changes the recall? I mean let's be realistic. Let's have the things that impact the server first before we go out of our way thinking about irrelevant crap that doesn't change the server one way or the other.
