I would think having a Faceworm Egg Shell [1] w/ Engkanto card would definitely boost our FW hunting experience...

May I ask your thoughts on Luminous Blue Stones [1]? Perks? Tradeoff? 

As far I know Abusive Robe enchants do not have Sharp enchants

Level 4 weapons don't really allow sharp1/2 enchants, the ones that are good anyway.

 

Sharp 1/2 sapha armor takes away your abusive Luk5/6 losing up to 28% crit damage + the bonus with enemy def penetration on crit damage.

 

Sharp 1/2 sapha shoes takes away temporal luk shoes taking 30% crit damage and 8% additional crit damage if you are at +12, luk+200 if lucky day, and aspd if aspd enchanted 10% aspd loss

 

Sharp 1/2 sapha hood takes away FAW with Crit 3/3/4 = lose 26% crit damage

 

Lumi stone takes away one accessory slot = lose megs = lose 75 str

 

Considering just armor and 2x accessory slots:

 

Setup 1: Abusive Luk6 with 2x megs = +28% crit damage, +150 str

Setup 2: Sapha armor with sharp 1+2, 1x lumi stone, 1x meg = +32% crit damage, +75 str

Setup 3: Sapha armor with sharp 1,2, 2x lumi stone = +44% damage, +0 str

Between setup 1 and 2, unless your +4% crit is better than +75 str, setup 1 wins.

Between setup 2 and 3, unless your 12% crit damage is better than 75 str, setup 2 wins.

 

As far as people who are setup with 2x megs and +14 abusive Luk6 I think we don't really need to give a about lumi stone. It's really just a poor man's setup that is of intermediate strength, which overruns Sarah's earrings.

 

Useful if you have multiple Gx chars and cbf transferring megs to invent and to another same account GX.

 

P/S: This assumes you have a way to get 193 aspd without bakos. It is doable. But takes effort and planning. If you can't get 193 aspd prolly bakos better for you in terms of overall DPS.

Also, has it been declared officially anywhere about set bonuses stacking? If it's just an assumption until proven otherwise, I'm pretty sure clarifying about it is pretty rational, isn't it?

set bonuses apply only once ever since the game first launched, that's how it works, no matter how many of each piece of the set you have.

Does that apply to having BOTH sharp1 and sharp2? Cause one guy above posted you can have 44% additional crit damage. I assumed that was for having BOTH sharp1 and sharp2 and two luminous blue stones.

if u have sharp1, sharp2 on your equip already, you'll get bonus set from sharp1+lumi + sharp2+lumi once whether you wear 1 or 2 lumi

what about the bonus if you have 100 Luk? Does that apply twice? (i.e. you'll get +30 crit rate total from 2 LBS)
