So, i got a few enriched and hd ores left and saw shadow refine event was active, and tried to get my malicious shadow shield to +10 it got to +7 just fine, but it WONT go to +8 it always go all the way down to +3 then back to +7 several times, is there something i can do to uncurse it?

yeah i would if it was a armor or shoes, but for some reason the f* shield is almost 5 times the price of the armor and shoes (and i'm too cheap for this  )

i was thinking on selling it (ragial average is 500m ) but i really doubt someone will pay 500m for this lul (also now everyone knows it's cursed lol)

Mine is rideword hat. Although it's not THAT cursed since I'm only upgrading it after I +9 my priority gears.

 

First try: 30+ e.elu = +4

Second try: 20+ e.elu = +6

Third Try: 50 e.elu = +6

 

it's now a decoration

My kvm got a real Curse, it never went to +10...

 

even i tried to use holy water in it, but it became cursed water when the holy water barely touched it...

 

now i have a shadow endowed kvm.

I personally upgraded 6 shadow gears this event. I used 420 ores in total to get all 6 to +10.

 

Literally the first 290 ores did nothing, then suddenly they all worked.

 

RNG at it again.

i know your pain. earlier i was upgrading racial sets: undead, fish, plant, and dragon. EVERYTHING went to +9.. except those f'n shoes lol. cursed like hell itself. i stopped trying today.. will come back to those again later.

I always use regular ores and proceed to smash my kb when dealing with shadow equips.

somehow i missed this post, but i know this curse very very well. it took me 34 attempts during the last enriched event to +10 the GMS on my gen account. the pain as i counted... it was so bad that after 20, i started making party names to match the number of times i had failed. but to be fair, i was getting back to +9 insanely easy. mostly 1/2 attempts.

if i remember right though, krit holds one of the highest failed upgrade attempts for a glorious gear at 6x. <---this is just flat out insane.
