This ~fact~ alone pretty much labels Odin as a failed server but we all know that a server wipe won't ever happen.

 

I don't believe Odin is failed; nor is the economy ruined. The economy has been sped up drastically by the impact of the bots, but as time goes on more and more Zeny will be introduced into the system, raising the prices steadily over time.

 

Since the bot populace has been lowered substantially, the prices will fluctuate briefly as the economy finds stability between the quantity of items available and the prices people are willing to pay. The prices of these items IMO have been pretty reasonable.

 

Considering that high level players can farm roughly about 1m per hour, I feel like the economy will straighten itself out by mid-October. However, as the game goes on, Ragnarok will suffer kind of like Chaos and Thor and new players will have a much harder time getting the Zeny required to get build staples.

odin isnt a fail-server at all. the players who asking for a wipe are failing because they arent able to farm zenys decently. ragnarok online is a korean grind-based mmorpg. if you dont know how to farm after 10-15 years playing this game, im here to tell you: you did it wrong, uninstall pls and stop crying.

You didn't put much thought into what I said earlier did you? Also, you are arguing about something completely different. We're not talking about who can farm better than others. We're talking about how messed up the server is.

 

1) 50%+ of all normal gears like Boots, Shoes, Bucklers, etc... are botted, hence majority of players are wearing gear obtained from illegal activity

2) 50%+ of all Zeny circulating on the server was created by a bot selling trash loot to an NPC

3) Legit players are spending many hours farming, making 100k-1m an hour while botters have and continue to making millions a day with little effort, I expect the OBB bots are making 10m's a day

 

*all statistics are made up but are undoubtedly true..

All the calculations you did is making bots to gods. Which dont get banned, punished, wiped, whatever.

Thousands of bots were banned and lost everything. A Zenyseller was banned completely and people who bought zeny got wiped their accounts.

So you make too much drama. Where is the problem if zenysellers have billions of zeny? They dont play. And you can even buy Zeny/Silvervine from WP. I just cant see the problem.

Maybe you whine about some lucky guys who botted while sleeping and made lots of zeny and are still active on the server. TBH most of 'em will quit when they can't bot anymore soon or get banned one day while botting another char.

 

i just can see the bot career of someone i know. he is lvl 75+ now. made 5 accounts. has much worse equip than me, no money and 3 accounts are jailed right now while the two other got wiped. so please dont think every botter makes profit.
