Did Camp and Oda ever explain how long the OCP's are going to be around for? Are we ever going back to lucky boxes or are the OCP here to stay?

Last approximately 1 month for each OCP. As to if they will continue to release OCP, Astra did mention as long as jRO keep sending them OCP packages, it will continue.
So OCP are here to stay, for a very very long time, unless demands stop.

OCP is here to stay, it is what the community have decided after all, since the whiners rejected Penetration/Tempest Set. Its one way or another, OCP or Penetration/Tempest Set. WP needs to make money, and if anyone fail to understand he/she must be living in utopia.

Stop repeating this. It isn't a fact, not matter how many times you try to push it as one.

So OCP's aren't here to stay?
There may be hope for this server yet.

I see certain players don't like the idea of having more OCP.
However, whether you like it or not, players who are spending the cash has the most influence on whether more OCP will come.

Yeah. They dont like OCP, they dont like Penetration/Tempest Sets either. So they are telling WP in the face that 'I dont want your company to make money'.

There's adding salt, and then there is claiming something as a fact. A lot of people here seem to do it.

funny that there are P servers out there that don't have any OCP item or op shadow set, have solid 2k+ players that still spend on the other cash items and visual sprites (jRO sprites) , almost no bots, and updates almost as soon as kro

probably why we lost most of our upper class players. the good pservers actually take care of their players. our server only has numbers because of our gambling addictions

There is one difference, private servers do not need to make significant amount of profit to stay alive. WP is a company and its staff want acceptable salary up to the industry standards, private servers have less or no such problem at all. Being an official server iRO has contracts with kRO, they have to pay to run RO server and receive updates, while private servers do not pay kRO anything and use all contents for free(hence why they are illegal). They also have less control over what contents they can have, while private servers just take whatever they can from kRO updates without restrictions. You apparently have missed out this thread from a few months ago, and the reputation of private servers aint as good as you think. For the ppls who quit iRO, they are far more likely to end up playing another game, than on private servers.
