can kagerou empty shadow or w/e that skill the remove reflects work on mvps? GX can CRS/SD RK has Sonic wave.

Wait until it is over. Kill it quickly so it don't cast.

1. Either kill it before it activates.

2. Wait for it to be over then kill it.

3. Lower your DPS so you can outpot the reflect.

4. Use range attack instead.

actually this is an issue in bio5 as well. the GX have a very similar reflect effect to kimi, except they dont turn yellow and you can't see when it activates or how long it lasts for. i used picky peck with cat during testing and still died from one-shot (and PP is ranged of course).

and CC is somewhat ranged and still kills me in ntf (i dont think CC is full ranged though). but i brought a ranger to ntf once and used AS on accident during yellow mode and that one shotted me as well.

i definitely disagree with the ranged thing, even if i am wrong. (i died using 2 different ranged attacks so you are wrong too )

all bio5 mobs able to use max pain. that reflect will reflect all damage (melee, ranged, magic)

do you know the accurate time this skill lasts for, or where i can find data on it? seems to me it lasted anywhere from 10-15 seconds.

and while we're on this subject, can i ask you about that skill that makes you get pulled towards the monster? its like a GX's skill Dark Illusion, except reversed. rather than jumping to the monster, the monster pulls you towards it.

AFAIK, each has low chance to cast max pain at certain HP. As of the duration, i think it is about 10 sec, just like kimi. need to observe furtther tho.

it is phantom thrust that draw you to the caster.

I am surprised you missed this reflect skill, would have figured you would have fought with Kimi at least once o_o

 

It usually last somewhere between 6~10 seconds with Kimi, so I would assume the same applies to the Bio5 version.

oh nono, totally! ive rolled kimi a bunch but i just wasnt sure what the skill was called and also wasnt sure if it was the exact same skill that the gx was using (i clearly see the yellow shield forming around the gx and then he becomes yellowish too, but with kimi i only see the yellow color change and not the yellowish shield sprite). it could be because im paying more attention to kimi's cast bar since i know when its coming.. and also maybe because she's bigger and has a phantom version next to her. might make the shield harder to see.. the only reason i even recognized why i got one shotted from it when gx was using it was past experience with kimi using it.. but during my first bio5 test its possible i may have had the effects off and couldnt see the yellow coloring. i saw it earlier tonight so im guessing that's the case.

ok good deal, i was trying to count seconds and that seems right. just needed to confirm that it was indeed the same skill.

and i'll take ya'lls word for it about the skill and look into it. i do have an RK but i gave up on it. db is boring and i never invested time into any other skills hehe.


last question, are all of the monsters supposed to have phantom thrust as well? ive experienced it with more than just the RK
