1. Does the desocketing NPC remove enchants on items like FAW? Could de-upgrading affect the enchants?
2. Can the 'Silit Pong' remove my poring card? Or does it only work with MVP cards?

1: unsure, wait for someone else to chime in
2: Silit Pong can only be used for most MVP cards. See the chart here for your chances at the 3 rolls (keeping the card, keeping the gear, keeping the refine level) http://irowiki.org/w...ard_Desocketing
so you're stuck with High Rank Lubricant's 80% success rate. Unless you only care about the card and not the gear, then General Lubricant is just as good.

I will post this here, because this was a solid concern of mine initially but the answer brings both pain and relief.
Enchants will always be removed no matter the result of the desocketing. This will never change.

Card list I'm not sure about, all I remember is someone said one of their instance MVP cards wouldn't allow Silit Pong usage
Here's the gears that Jeremy can do:
Keep in mind that Helm = upper headgear only. So currently we can do upper headgear, armor, shoes, garment. No accessory, weapon, shield or mid headgear. Hey, 50% ain't too bad~
