Hey guys! I used to play iRO back when I was in high school (the last time I touched it was '07). I decided to jump back into it because I used to love the game, but everything seems so different now! Any tips for an "old" newcomer? I was planning on making a Mage since I had a Wizard back then. Any thoughts? Any help would be appreciated!

You can find a new post about starter Wiz/WL build and gears here and here.

You can also take a look at iRO wiki for a list of possible WL gears as well as example builds. (The Warlock page is updated, so using the page provides reliable information.)

You can also browse the Mage section for some more Mage related Q&A threads as well as videos. :)

A word of warning though: Warlock is one of the more expensive characters to start with.

Ooooh, good to know. Out of the two, which would you recommend?

What two?

The first two are some gear/stat recommendations for beginners.

IRO wiki is broader, listing good gears for small and large bugets, without specifically makring them as either because prices can change any time.

Also there is a new Official Server: Restart

Its like replay the game from the start 10+ years ago, its fun, Morroc is fine, no Rebirth yet or maps like Thor, or Ice Cave and no 2-2 classes ATM... well only sage and monk but they released yesterday i think.

You can feel the Nostalgia again! :go:

It's not true nostalgia when hit/flee/damage/cast formulas etc all changed.

I'm sorry for the confusion! My noobness got the best of me...I just realized WL meant Warlock. Thank you for the useful information! Very much appreciated.
