Hello, my Knights name is Dovahkiin (no joke, what a awsome name for a RK    ) and I quit RO a while ago. 

I have expierences some builds but in the end before I left I sticked with a full DB RK.

 

 

I got back again to RO thx to the Restart server where I have a BB Knight, and I always missed my old RK. 

Also I am a huge fan of HayrohsLegacy. But as english is not my native language I dont understand his guide completly.

 

My Maingoal is to MVP and PVM only, WoE is fun but I live in Austria and the times are a bit of a mess for me.

 

My biggest Problem is to understand the changes to cast time and items. And if I can rescue my current knight.

I will also post you my budget and would be thankfull for any advice you can give me.

 

If Full DB water/fire is still good in PVM/MVP I can stick with it, I also like Hundredspear but it is not a must for me.

 

So here comes my beloved Knight:

 

 

 

Now I have many questions and I am happy for any input you give.

Budget atm is 990m zeny

 

 

1, Should I stick with full DB for MVP/PVM? Char name would fit perfectly

2, I heared of a new DB cast formula, what stats do I have to get at 175?

120dex, only vit/int won't work anymore 

 

3, what Items should I get first, budget is ~990m zeny and 5.000 KP.

+9 Tae Goo Lyeon

+9 DEX Temporal Boots [1] w/Firelock Card

+9 Vanaguard Helm [1] w/Bungisngis

 

Still not sure about armor, any suggestion?

 

4, I also got a Genetic on 149, should I still hunt Tao Gunka?

 

5, Do that MVP rooms for private MVPing still exist?

 

6, What ist that Shadow Gear? Looks like everyone wearing it right now.

 

7, What places should I level from 149 to 175?

 

8, Did I skill something wrong? If not, where to put in the last 9 skill points?

 

9, Even as I tend to DB RK, what spear is used for Hundred spear builds?

10, I got a 2nd RK at 149 (for testing) should I give him the old Urs Set and make a Hundredspear Knight of him? (now it goes offtopic)

3.  +10 Evil Dragon Armor is awesome, but with your budget maybe +9 would be good enough?

 

6.  For Shadow gear I would just go to Izlude (small map) and hunt the Mysterious bug over and over to get the "free" set.

3. Buy a weapon then do ogh to get yourself a temp boots.
4. Sure, if you could spot it breathing then why not.
5. Yes.
6. A new equipment that gives good effect/stat. Can't be stripped and destroyed.
7. If you are party-player you could go bio4 if not, go nightmare clock tower. You need to be 150 first.
8. You can decide for yourself. RK skills are pretty straightforward. You won't get wrong with it.

Yes, pretty much it. If you want better max HP, you can use turkey.  You can also buy a Heroic Backpack for looting purpose (+0 is fine)

 

Deviling Card right now is about 1 billion CMIIW

Right now, it's either slotted or enchanted, can't have both

Best one is slotted+9 with firelock soldier card

Cool Sideeffekt: My old HS RK use now Urs + +9 2x Kingbird Gungnir and is also quiete fun to Play.

 

Can't wait to start my DB RK from 149 to 175 (or 174)

Why Red Pom Band?

 

For DB you need either:

- Turkey for max HP/max SP (better damage)

- Heart Wing Hairband to reduce skill delay and SP consumption (reuse DB faster)

- Vanargand Helm for leeching HP and SP (less consumable)

 

For middle you can use New Wave Sunglasses (skill delay -10%, reuse DB faster)

 

For lower, either:

- Strawberry Mouth Guard (+2000 max HP)

- Toy Syringe if you're using Condensed Potion for your main healing

- Blood Sucker/ Tengu Scroll for leeching HP

 

For maximum damage its better to card Menblatt in your FAW

With 120 DEX, its +12% damage for your DB

Is +12 HWHB and +10 EDA (with what card?) a must have for PVM/MVP DB RKs?

 

 

I don't get any time soon chances on Kiel or Tao MVP Cards.

So after Old Runecirclet is op as hell in my opinion. I skip HWHB and bought a +10 EDA.

 

This is my Knight atm. Can one please give me suggestions what best lower and mid headgear is atm? (and maybe also the 2nd best option)

Also what I dont know, how much HP is > SP.

 

Is there something like saying 1000 more hp is equal in dmg to 150 sp?

 

Also please feel free to say something I can do better about my gear. Do someone can give me a suggestion about Mid and Lower Special Gear too?

Mid> Bloody butterfly ear? I think the slotted only exist in Thor or I might be wrong

Costume is for cosmetic only but maybe you'll find a great use of those with stats which is pricey with a mere change of your overall game experience.

Also for the shadow set, you can use malicious shadow set to help with leech rate

I am now lvl 150, and no Gramps anymore

 

Tried NMClockTower, where mobing as FullDB RK is quite easy.

Do I have any chance finding a bio4 or 5 party with lvl 150?

 

I miss going with a full Party and DBing the shiet out of Mobs. (this week 126-150 is nice with earth Monsters) doing DBs with 90+k dmg

Pure DB RKs are always welcome in Bio4 Parties, even at lvl 141. Unless they got a crap ton of 'em already.
