Hey guys! 

 

Old time classic-RO player here. Came back for Ragnarok Re:start but completely missed Renewal and the overhaul that came with it. I've always wanted to play a Monk, but never got the chance, so I want to make one now. I've read up a bit and checked up on how Renewal works, and came up with a prototype first build.

 

Please critique the following build. Keep in mind I want this Monk to be able to take a jack of all trades approach and do a little bit of everything, while being an effective 1st character on the server. Once rebirth becomes available, I will likely make a full Asura Champion.

About your Forum name, you have to send a support ticket and wait, it takes some time, it's a bit of a long process since it also affects your account name for all games.

 

Regarding your Monk build, I don't know if getting Fist is a good idea without going for a full Fist build, to be honest I'd go full combo with auto cast cards (like the acolyte set) it would be an effective and cheap farming character.

Considering ur purpouses the build is nice (not for woe of course)

but if I were u I'd reduce the int and increase agi and vit for lvling purpouses

but yeah u'll have good times with this build

I'm planning making one similar

I agree, maybe for first character, a only combo monk will be more interesting, easy, cheaper, efficient, fun. When u got sometime on the server, u can think in do other chars with other propouses

 

Personaly i build something like:

7x~8x str

5x~6x vit

2x~3x int

5x~6x dex

no luk

 

A skill tree full focus on combo playstyle, without g.fist

1) Some agi, not too much because with too much Agi doing comboes is a bit hard since you attack too fast.
