Greetings Temperions!

 

Since the latest updates went live yesterday I have noticed many players have concerns regarding them. Please know that I am always gathering feedback to send to the Requiem Team. If you have already voiced your concerns in another thread please do not feel like you are required to post in here as well. But if you do have any feedback please feel more than welcome to leave it here so I can organize it and send it to the team. 

 

When posting please remember to follow the forum's Rules of Conduct. If a post does violate the rules of conduct, as per normal, it may be removed or edited. If you are unsure how to leave effective feedback please take a look at the example formats below:

 

What to Do:

  • Stating "I like XXX aspect of the game but wish it was altered/enhanced this way" gives us a very precise information on what the issue is as well as an idea of what a possible solution would be.
  • Stating "This xxx feature isn't working well and I think it would be better if yyyyy happened" also gives precise information.

What Not to Do:

  • Stating "This game is bad and isn't fulfilling my needs" provides us no information on what the problem is and in turn does not help us come up with possible solutions to address the issue. 

Remember the more details regarding your concern the better! If you do have concerns but are shy or do not want to post them here please know you are welcome to PM me regarding them as well. On Monday I will be collecting and organizing the concerns given so that I can send it to the team! Please make sure to voice your concerns here before then!

Recent Updates?

 

The biggest Problems in this Game are still Carus Items under lvl 70 and the overuse/stacking of Cad/Scad.

 

Everything is related to those both.

 

No balanced Start Zones = more unbalanced Items/burden for the Late Game Player, since they represent the only Income.

 

To much Cad/Scad will  further amplify the already catastrophic one Sided overpowered Classes in Game.

 

Only because of Cad/Scad the Class balancing became absurd. And somehow necessary after each new Raid/Gear Update.

 

If you think the latest Items are the Problem, you only see the Top of the Iceberg.

While it is true there are concerns regarding older content, feedback has already been collected in the past for it; hence why the focus here is on recent changes. Feedback regarding other aspects of the game is of course welcome so please feel free to post it here along with any concerns for the recent changes.

Мне понравились исправления, связанные с магазином. Я хотел бы больше продаж в магазине для разных товаров, а не только для чары. Хотя они уменьшили количество предметов для получения более высокого xeon, но все равно получают их тяжело и очень утомительно. Игра должна быть забавной, и у меня создается впечатление, что я иду на работу и не играю. Вы ввели новую броню ... но слишком тяжелая работа слишком утомительна, а руки уже с тех пор становятся головоломками. Вы заходите в игру и пытаетесь собрать группу игроков на марше к башне Эрниль или к боссу Веренюман. Вы этого не понимаете (простой персонаж, а не когда все знают, что GM ввел и собирает группу где-то). Игроки, которые добывали и зачаровали новые доспехи на +30, не хотят никуда идти и помогать кому-то. На сервере мало игроков, Сложнее собрать группы. Хотелось бы, чтобы каждую вторую неделю происходили события не только для зачарования, но и для всех видов объектов. И теперь в игре будет очень большой разрыв между игроками, которые зачаровали доспехи на +30 до и теми, кто пытается зачаровать ее сейчас. Это похоже на бег после поезда. не может догнать. Я, конечно, понимаю, что вам нужно зарабатывать деньги, и я рад тратить деньги в магазине игр.

Ok let's start...
 
I am going to list the problems with the latest changes and suggestions to fix them (changing only reinforce stats) : 
 
Darkest Defacer [Av] Holy Damage Removed
Darkest Defacer [Av] SCC Added
 
 
There wasn't any need to remove Light Damage from Avengers.
As you probably know, light damage affect trap damages, and Avengers already suffer of a low damage compared to other classes. Avenger Traps should hurt more than simple pew pews, but they currently hit less (comparing +30 avenger vs +30 caster), part of the fault is also because Avenger set has a low SCAD on reinforce on several pieces.
 
Fix : Remove SCC, bring back Holy Damage, and change all avenger parts to reinforce +150 SCAD per piece (currently only upper and lower part reinforce 150+).
 
Darkest Defacer [Ra] Melee Defense Reduced
Darkest Defacer [Ra] Short/Ranged Defense Reduced
Darkest Defacer [Ra] Skill Critical Rate Added
Darkest Defacer [Ra] Skill Critical Damage Added
 
And now let's go to Ranger.
Ranger is a pure AA class and has several skills that augment its AA abilities (damage buffs, extend range, evasion debuff etc)...
The whole class is based on AA and that's its main feature, being good at it.
There isn't any need to add SCAD and SCC to the set. There are no SS/hybrid rangers and there will never be any simply because it's stupid and weak. You don't have to add a SCC/SCAD option to ranger. That said...
 
Fix : Remove SCC and SCAD, replace them with DEX or long range attack which fits the class.
 
Darkest idolater [Fo] Min Magic Damage Reduced
Darkest idolater [Fo] Min/Max Magic Damage Reduced
Darkest idolater [Fo] Fire Damage Increased
Darkest idolater [Fo] Fire Resistance Added
Darkest idolater [Fo] Curse Resistance Added
 
 
This forsaker changes touched very little the class so they are kind of fine. There isn't any fix needed.
 
Darkest Quixotic [Dr] Melee Defense Added
Darkest Quixotic [Dr] Short/Ranged Defense Added
Darkest Quixotic [Dr] Skill Critical Rate Reduced
Darkest Quixotic [Dr] INT Reduced
 
 
You gave Ranger a "SS option", but not an AA option to Druid which makes much more sense?
As you may know, Druid is labelled as caster but has also many physical abilities, such as Inferno and it's skills.
Worth mentioning, Inferno has also an attack speed buff, being able to shift and build into AA. But not with the current set, there is no way you build an AA inferno build, it would be very weak!
Being able to build an AA druid is also something players look forward, back then AA builded druids used 72 fascination set which was a druid set completely physical with CAD reinforced. It was balanced and funny to play, I have one myself.
But then, skill changes changed the class in a way that you trasform only to stun/immunity, and play like a caster. The new set ultimately killed that AA option druids had.
Fix : Remove HP reinforced from druid and replace it with CAD reinforced.

Darkest Utopian [Do] Min Magic Damage Added
Darkest Utopian [Do] Max Magic Damage Added
Darkest Utopian [Do] Melee_Defense Added
Darkest Utopian [Do] Range_Defense Added

Ah....!!!! My favorite and main class! 
I know I make many players QQ about this "1 man" class by duelling/PKing them ahahah...
 
But what they were QQing about isn't it's HP, but it's damage (which is anyway a damage that comes only from pew pew skills and hardly kill anything in battlefields, where mostly CC/ground aoes combos kill, due to the constant heals).
 
So, if you wanted to nerf a bit the set to shut up them, that was definitely the wrong way, since they will still look at the "written damage" and QQ about it.
Said that, I also mentioned many times that, if you wanted to nerf this dead class, you had to revamp pets TOGETHER with the nerf on set.
 
Fix : Replace min and max_magic damage to CON and Evasion (parts that increase defense remain like that), reduce INT reinforced from shoes.
Evasion is currently almost useless because of it's formula that makes it hard to work well in PvP (you need huge amounts of additional evasion compared to enemy accuracy to make a difference in their miss ratio, but has always been a stat that defined Soul Hunters, and mainly, Dominators).
 
You may think about adding back the accuracy debuff (ya remember, Binding Weapon), maybe with an Attack of Curse animation and curse damage, to make the Evasion and the new debuff more worthy. Would definitely balance the new set and create a new build (especially in PvE).
 
And...looking forward for a revamp to those pets that die in few seconds and do no damage? Yeah...
 
 
Darkest Seeker [Sh] Skill Critical Damage Added
 
Hey man, same thing of Ranger. Shadow Runner is an AA class and will never be a SS class, which is why it has several skills that improves its AA abilities, such as evasion debuff, accuracy buff, range buff etcetc...
Fix : Replace SCAD with additional long range damage or CAD.
 
 
Darkest Belligerent [Wa] Critical_Damage Added
 
And last, but not least, Warlord!
 
Yeah man...same stuff. There is no Warlord that will build around AA, never been, since the class is completely focused on Skill Spamm. Unlike it's counterpart Berserker, which can be builded AA and is pretty strong on it...
In few words, if you want a Warlord that AA, you simply go Zerk. AA warlord is simply stupid, inefficient and weak, and you can't really make one because of the lack of an attack speed buff.
 
Cmon man, Warlord even has a passive that decreases your attack speed, that should make you think twice before adding CAD ^_^
 
And that's all! Covered all latest changes!

The main problem we have is our GM appears to have no knowledge of the game, although i have backed helium many times in the past i find it almost impossible to do it now, almost all changes, patches, updates made to the game in the year i have been back have been completely wrong, you just need to read the comments above to see the most recent one.

 

We had a terrible armour introduced to game which is the most unbalanced, there was no advise taken by volunteers even though volunteers gave many opinions, no one could ever imagine the huge differences in values/stats. Then edits being done which gave completely wrong stats to classes for example ranger with skill stats and warlord with aa stats to name the most recent.

 

Along with this the server being completely unstable, we have had several times with 72 hours + the game has been down and no GM appearing to be on call to monitor games and recognise these problems.

 

Then when we feel like there has been some good changes made, there are other updates which completely contradict and disable any usefulness of the previous choices. For 1 example (there is more than 1) atmas in pd being a positive change for pve players and boosting premium sales, now with new forge system there is no point to farm PD.

 

The new forge system/daily quests just feel like an insult to the community and GM will not admit that the game is less active but for players it is very clear to see.

 

Players being ignored on forum, no real answers.

 

The most recent update to the Darkest armour makes it clear that whoever decided on these changes has no idea which each class requires, is not playing the game, is not listening to players, is not doing any research or testing the armour in game.

 

From a player point of view, it looks as though our GM is not working on this game only, as it appears not much time is given to the game, with sloppy and negative updates, there appears to be very little care for this game.

The changes and compensation given to this community is feeling more and more like an insult with every maintainence and change.

 

And about giving suggestions, Helium was given many suggestions while the volunteer group was open, there were many times that i myself sent him screenshots of changes required, problems in game, exploits and although i had many conversations privately with helium, it seems as though all info given for completely ignored, and there were 10+ people in that group also giving suggestions and i know none of them would suggest removing damage from avenger or making ranger skill spam or supporting these new insulting quests, if you wonder why sometimes people dont put suggestions and only are telling the problem, you should understand it is because we know what we are dealing with and we understand we are going to be ignored.

 

 

Changes Suggested

 

Look into all classes, test all darkest armours

Look into all skills of every class

Rethink your forge system

Talk to the community

Listen to the community

Have some team building in your office, there is clearly something not right.

Be Honest with the community, stop talking to us like you are a politician, trying to keep us sweet without anything positive or solid.

 

There are many many more suggestions but it would be useless for me to write them.

 

Don't mistake my passion for anger, i am one of very few people actively helping the community and providing information to them.

Thank you everyone who submitted feedback! I have organized and submitted it to the Requiem team, including Helium, so that they can review it thoroughly. I am hoping that they will soon have some thoughts on the feedback so that I can share it here with you. Any updates will be posted here as soon as they are available  :p_smile:

Latest patch notes have been updated and some of the suggestions have been implemented! Keep up the feedback everyone!  :no1:
