Hi guys,
Came back to the game a week ago specifically to play Bio5 and got too excited to bother doing the friendship quest. Now I'm stuck being unable to move on to the slums area with tons of other people without the pass.
The lighthalzen guard is currently bugged with the same permanent "Recently too many people.... but how can so many sneak through us?" line for hours.
Any fast help please CM? Finally collected all my itemsand now i cant make my lovely old rune circlet.

Alternate way of entering lighthalzen slums, needs the Laboratory Permit, Grampa Bears and Geek Glasses:
Enter Rekenber headquarters, go to the left.
You'll see an NPC blocking a warp, talk to him
If you have Geek Glasses + Grampa Beard equipped he'll warp you next to the warp.
Go through the warp, you will see a new room with a couple of NPCs.
Talk to the NCP in front of the bars, if you have the Laboratory permit with you he'll warp you to Bio1.
Take any warp to Bio2.
In Bio2 you can see a room in the bottom right, go there and you will find a passage not shown on the map.
If you go through there you will end up at a warp that brings you to a pipe.
Exit the pipe at the other end and tadah, you are inside Lighthalzen's slums.
Tedious? Yeah, but it allows you to do the friendship quest to get a pass.

Sweet, guess i'll do that for now for a quick fix, but please fix this bug soon!

Thank you Kubikyuu, it took me for ever going in and out of bio1 and 2 for the different steps but it worked.

Yes, I have the same issue. A lot of other people have been having it too. I've seen a lot of players trying to get in but not being able to. I've been trying periodically for.. around 14 hours now I think.

Only way in seems to be with the pass from Friendship Quest. Regular "talk to the guard multiple times until he lets you in" doesn't work currently as it seems the mobster/gangster invasion event is stuck?

i just did the friendship quest . and then i rodexed my pass to my alt gen. but the char didnt receive the mail! now my pass is gone!!!

You can finish the friendship quest with the method I posted in the second post of this thread.
You need to have finished the shortcut access to Bio2 for that though.

^There is currently a one-way warp enabled in the map beside the Guard. Un-hide Chats and click on the box like you would during a job change quest. All you need to do is save at the city, then proceed to do the pre-req for the Pass.

Of course, not surprising. It has yet to be addressed properly 
A temporary fix is to restart the Zone/Server, not sure if they will do that midweek but let's wait and see.

Another solution is to do the friendship quest, with the help of someone that have already completed it by borrowing her pass.
