Personal opinion: Base cast time should be slightly longer to encourage a few points into dex. The 1 dex gfists are really quick

1 dex asura is ok for mvp i guess... but for woe you are pretty much begging to get interrupted with 1 dex, of course you will get an asura threw ,if your target doesnt pay to much attention

And for the sake of re:Start they removed fixed portion of cast time from skills.

This discussion is pretty pointless. If monks had to invest points in dex knights wouldn't be dying.

If your woe monk has no dex ,you are begging for interruption :v
And besides that if knights hp pool/defense/damage wouldnt be utterly broken, Asura wouldnt be needed :V

Without a decent cast time spell break/dispel/spirit absorbtion/safetywall would still render a monk useless ... ... at least they should.

i gone for a little bit less than that to output a reliable knight killing asura , top tier geared target are still troublesoume without lex/freed/stonecurse though

This entirely. Asura cast is working just fine, there is really no alternative to a Knight using any skill during WoE outside of Asura if said Knight has stun resistance. Just squash the bug and move on.

I think it feels fine the cooldown more than makes up for it. If anything I would say the cooldown feels too harsh in PvM, that + fury + 5 SS destroys my exp rate in anubis.

PvP knights will always have stun resistance as it's a free resistance for those that build vit. So there really is no choice to kill knights. Either break their gear or Asura them. But don't worry, once crusaders release Knights will be unkillable thanks to the woe pots. You have 2 months to enjoy woe though.
