Im new as a trap hunter , and I really struggle to put my trap on the ground . Its so annoying when I have like 10 alarm who run after me . Actually is I run , click on f1 to put my trap on the ground  and many time its just dont work ! Sometime I need to click on the ground like 5-10 time ! Its so annoying and raging loll ... So I wonder if I dont something wrong .Is trap have some Unknow rules like gutter line for knight ? Do I need to stop moving when I put trap ? I wish you understand my problem , its kind of hard to explain loll . And from now I just wonder how can I spam them .

A trap has to be a certain distance from you, that's number 1.

 

Traps also have this weird thing where if you place it on a tile on a different level as you, sometimes it just doesn't appear. Like in clock tower 3 there are stairs, then the split line between the stairs, sometimes placing it from the other side of the split line between stairs just shows the animation but no traps. Not sure why it is but it's been this way for a while. I'd assume it's to avoid people placing traps on other side of walls.

 

Best way to do it is to find a leveled ground with no tight spacing to ensure the trap is placed. I don't know of any rules but that's just based on experience.

A trap must be at least 2 cells away from you and and 2 cells away from another trap.

Also, don't place traps next to a wall, for some reason they don't get placed and you still usea trap

All of you guys are awesome !! And yes my problem was specialy in stair at Alarm mask . So now what I need is practice .
