Which map has better exp/hour for a BB Knight? Also, in which one the loot is better, because I need to cover the costs with potions.

Faster Exp/hr

Solo> CTHO, loots are just enough to cover pots expenses.
w/Big Party> Raydric/CTHO/CTAnolian

Gotta go Faster?

Anubis (Bathory needed, priest support hightly recommended)

Better loot

Raydric (Castle2) hands down, lots of goodies and expensive cards

Chivalry is another option for loots. Has almost the same monsters as Castle 2, is easier to navigate and has way higher AK spawn. The downside is the lack of Wanderers, wich bring the exp yield way down, so its not recommended for leveling above lvl 90.

Something in the middle?

Magma Dungeon (Bathory needed in lvl 2, priest support (aspersio) recommended. For lv 1 water weapon/endow and pasana work great)

Good exp/hr, Misc loots sell good, also some interesting drops

And what about the future?

Kiel Hyre (not released yet) will be great for exp and loot grinding. PVP/WoE equips such as Hydra weapons and thara frog will be very useful. A Knight without gungnir and high dex might need a weapon with mummy card to deal with alicel and aliots.

Pasana isn't necessary at all for Magma, I think Bathory works better, assuming of course you're on level 2 instead of screwing around in level 1. The big things to watch out for in level 2 can just be sidestepped and with Bathory armor you avoid the SS spam. I guess if you were really concerned with fire damage you could just put on a fire resist garment and call it a day but even that isn't needed.

Really? I've noticed taking 500~1k damage from frequent fireballs in level 2 and that is with a pasana. I haven't tried using my bathory instead -  SS is painful but rarer than the 12381098 fireballs I seem to take. I'll try it! Wouldn't recommend a fire resist garment there's no way it helps more than an immune overall. love magma 2 though great loot AND exp.

I suggest C2 or Magma 1/2 if you want a place where it gives good exp at lv 85+ and good priced loots at the same time. Marduk area at lower levels because in_sphinx3 can give you matyr card, marduk card, obb, undershirt/pasana card and good priced npc loots. CTHO gives really good exp but the drops are no good. It barely covers my woe pots expense. So I ended up finding another spot where I could mob, farm and level up at the same time. These are all based on my own experience and I'm currently lv 92.

Lan2007's post is something you might wanna consider. Good guide.

Unequip immune would be terrible. I also prefer Pasana btw.

I take a little over 1k without Pasana which is why I even mentioned anything, that card seems a little lackluster outside of MVP hunting as most of the attacks you'd be worried about being hit with can simply be sidestepped. The fireballs are no big deal for a Knight health pool.

When you say it like that, what card is actually better than Pasana in there? Considering how you're saying that nothing in there is a big deal for a "knight's health pool".

I already mentioned Bathory to cover DS spam. That's really the only thing that's dangerous aside from fire pillars, but who stands around in those? Meteors can be interrupted/sidestepped and aside from that there's nothing significant that can outright kill a Knight. If you'd like a demonstration contact me ingame, you can tag along for a farming session.

I'm asking because that is also "no big deal" for a "knight's health pool". Why Bathory?

I see where you're trying to go with this but to be quite frank, I don't have time for your shenanigans.

That's a darn shame, I was curious what the answer may be.

I would say in xp.

C2 > Anos > CTHO

Can't tell where Anubis fit in there, but Forget about them, there are too much Monks now on that field.

Anos are easy to mob and atk real slow, never Need much pots to kill a bulk.

ill-mannered behavior no respect of other's opinion.

DisposableHero's post based on his experience playing knight in magma.

Any knight hunting in magma will agree.

I doubt this person ever step into magma dungeon or even play a knight (he's only a hunter)...... Acting exactly like a child lol  :heh:

Why Bathory?

owh please.... you never fight nightmare terror eh?

to be honest this is the only problem for the knight's health pool, please use bathory, it's not as hurt as anubis you might live after tank it.

however combination mob + get SS from Nightmare Terror could kill you

as for pasana it's optional.

Fire DMG will come only from Fireball and Meteor.

DMG from fireball without pasana will be 2-3k max no problem for knights

and please don't tank the meteor, just run around with your mob to avoid the meteor

Anolians is by far the highest XP/H outside of GD, the problem is, most anolian parties suck and have a bunch of leechers.

Thanks for this correction, already made some changes to the original post.

Bathory card indeed works better than Pasana in LVL 2 as the dark element greatly diminishes the damage from Soul Strike(dark) and also helps a lot with fire damage. Even so, taking off the raydric would be detrimental as most of the incoming attacks in the mob are still neutral.

It is. Even with the Knight´s high HP, the naturally low INT makes magic our enemy. Even with MDEF gear, monster magic attacks are boosted in renewal. in this specific instance , the attack may not 1 or 2 hitko but It will chip off a large amount of HP anyways, wich translates to more pots being spent.
