+40 atk seems pretty good for leveling

Just against beasts and insects.

Not worth it. As a hunter, you will mostly be leveling off monsters that are not beasts nor insects. If you are a trapper you probably will be leveling off anolians and Anubis. If you are a strafer, you will probably be leveling off High Orcs.

 

And just a personal preference as I am more inclined on WoE and PvP, I do not waste skill/stat points on skills/stats that will only help me to level up.

Level up = training, WoE/PVP = war.

Cry in training so you will laugh in war.

I personally don't think it's worth it, it's too specific.

Too many points for too little gain against very limited scenarios.

Have in mind also that it is Mastery ATK, and as such it isnt boosted by Race%, Size%, ATK%(Boss%) or Element% cards.

Idk, I found it useful while leveling my woe hunter in TI surface. Neuralizers are really cheap (unless something changed). 

@OP - Pick a spot where you want to level, then decide.
