Which is better? This is assuming that the sorcerer visits the keyboard enough to keep a pet out.

Genetic with Homunculus in OD2.

You don't afk with anything else and even Genetic is slow af thanks to Homunculi not being able to kill strong mobs and exp penalty.

If you really want to afk till 99 that is possible with all chars equally well, provided that you gear them properly.

My recommendation would still be: don't.

any class will perform equally on AFK setups since it relies solely on the user gears. Maybe one or two cases where the class has a usefull passive, other than that it's all the same.
