with ocp introduction i think im ready for any future merge with chaos even though we lack gods and mvps at thor server.

This is a teaser ~ The way of the Paladin ... The way of Grand Cross.

People have asked me how to level Crusader and/or Paladin with Grand Cross. I am not going to do a complete Grand Cross tutorial yet hence I'm hiding my gears at the moment. When we get a complete set of gears and this Grand Cross build becomes real solid. I'll make a full video to show how to maximize Grand Cross damage and what basic necessary gears you need.

The way of the Paladin is to be a Spear of Justice, to destroy the darkness and guide brightness into the world.

His damage sucks but that's ok cause his gears are low tier.

For a RG to solo NTF, he either needs 2 Kiels or String. Maybe I can try Grand cross later if she is Undead/Shadow idk lol

​Your damage could have been a lot more.    (It adds 50k on my VP to Amdarais)

you already can solo HTF right now. I’ve done it way before bio5 came on RK with only IB+BB so there’s practically no reason RG with bio5/OCP cannon spear and OB can’t do it. All you need to do is stack up neutral resist (HBP DR+immune alice will reduce her dmg to peanuts) and shadow/undead armor. she’s nothing but skill spam while waiting for her to die. I would say you only need about 3-4min to kill her on any decently geared RG right now. As long as you have bio5.

It is just that you need to bring in your alt String but then I think that doesnt justify solo the instance if you bring an alt to buff you

To flesh out Sigma's answer a little more

 

Mild Wind effects your StatusATK and continues to do so for the duration of mild wind. By activating 1 of the 4 potential mild winds available that takes your Neutral property StatusATK and makes it elemental which means there is no loss from Fenrir's Ghost Property.

 

After activating Mild Wind, you can un-equip your weapon and re-equip it again to leave ONLY your statusATK effected by the mild wind bonus.

 

You then use enchant poison to make all the rest of your damage poison property, and then apply vendom impression to reduce her resistance so that your poison damage will now do 1.215x the damage. So instead of just doing 100% damage all around, you do 100% StatusATK and 112% for the rest.

 

 

now go make an alt GX lol

 

Venom impression is for:

Neutral = 150%

Ghost 1 = 150%
Ghost 2 = 112.5%

Fire 1 = 187.5%
Fire 2 = 187.5%

Earth 1 = 187.5%
Earth 2 = 187.5%

Wind 1 = 187.5%
Wind 2 = 187.5%

 

Poison Enchant + Venom impression has the best results on Lv1/2 Fire/Wind/Earth/Water elements, since their oposite element gonna do just 175%

 

And

 

You gonna use Dark Claw whenever you gonna melee anything, since your melee damage becomes 2.5x, whatever the element.

Grand cross does well against Undead and Shadow property monsters. The skill itself has many drawbacks to be honest due to its mechanisms and I'm not really a fan of it. It does look awesome however lol. I think it is a good mobbing skill over all for Crusader/Paladin and early low level Royal guard until you are decently-geared for Cannon spear or Over brand which in my opinion are much more efficient at mobbing then Grand cross. Sure though, I wouldnt mind trying to do GC-only OGH run or any high level Undead/Shadow instances for lols.

 

Without Imperial Feather + Ring combo, a Crusader/Pally should already be able to mob in Low TI regardless of monsters' element.
