I'm so lucky to get  2x Celine's Brooch   so I can test the difference   between  1 and 2  Brooches 

 

this will be great for information  who want to hunt MVP with WL

 

 

Target : AA

 

Skill : Jack Frost  w/ La Cryma combo  

 

AA is Holy 3  so it take only 25% dmg from my Jack Frost 

 

Recognized Spell : Yes

Mystical Amplification : No    

 

 

 

 

 

No Accessory 

 

 

 

 

 

1x Celine's Brooch

 

 

 

2x Celine's Brooch 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Summary :  I tested only Combo with +9 Celine's Ribbon 

 

 

All Stat  bonus from Celine's Ribbon upgrade   =   Apply only one 

 

ASPD+1 =  Apply both      from nothing  I have 176 

                1x Brooch = 178  because I've got Agi+9 from set bonus  that's enough for increase my ASPD

                2x Brooch = 179

 

Fix Cast time reduction =  Apply only One  =>  50%  so that's mean 

                 my WL don't need Scrament from AB anymore 

                 Even I'm not go MVPing    just solo leveling / party leveling without AB

 

MATK +5% =  Apply both    can replace Magic Intensifier ring  o_o) 

 

Magic Damage on boss type monsters =   Apply only One   

   

so that's mean  for overall MVPing  1 Celine's Brooch  +  1 Magician Glove +  La Cryma combo 

                 (Or Crimson Rod / VM Rod  NP / NCT combo)

                  = 100% Bypass on everything  , MVP will cry :<   

 

(Maybe I'll find another +9 Celine's Ribbon and put Lichtern blue  for more Waterball dmg  , it's permanent boost  unlike Zaha Doll require White Lady proc for full damage boost)

 

 

 

 

  I testd on Bijou   who is Undead Lv. 4

 

This test  I keep Magician Glove on it for  100% Bypass with La Cryma combo

 

 

and I know that  Boss damage  apply only one Celine's Brooch  so I'm lazy to test with 2x Celine's Brooch 

 

 

 

No Celine's Brooch 

 

 

 

1 Celine's Brooch

100% MDEF bypass from  La Cryma combo and Magician Glove

 

 

No Brooch   just only  basic  Magic Intensifier w/ Elvira : About 180k

 

 

 

w/ Celine's Brooch  and of course .... clean   w/o Elvira yet :    370k

Yep , the magic damage boost on boss type / MVPs     I feel like it's grant 100% (Double damage)   more than 40% in the description

Thank you, Mike. It was really giving 100%? I hope WP don't addopt Cylinder's stupid instance of "fixing" the description instead of the item. I'd hate to feel more stupid than I am already feeling...

Apparently it was giving multiple set bonuses, which is kek.

From what I see so far, they will reduce it to 50%, rather than changing the item description. It seems to be a rather important fix that they decide to do another maintenance just for it.

The way you worded it implied that it maybe it should have remained 100% and had the description to match.

Yeah 'maybe', another pointless guess from you. If that was what I meant to say, Id use the word 'nerf' rather than 'reduce' lol. You can go on making assumptions, seems that theres no better thing for you to do other than wasting time misinterpreting someone else's messages.

Actually 50% is fine, it may be even better this way since if it stays as 100% and many ppls find out about this, the price of Celine Brooch and Ribbon will surge to a new level.

The biggest damage and the reason I suspect it was such a quick fix, was because of the fact that 12% Demi Reduc stacked, making 24%, aka no damage in WoE aside from Sura and Doram.

As I said, best in slot for Pororoca Lock and Auto Cast Sorcerer.
