I would go for .1 second CC cast time with Midas, getting instant cast will take away from possible damage quite a bit. If you really need instant CC use cylinder. For the most part  .1 second with possible help from blessing to reach it is ideal.

Im interested at the part of using midas instead of chb when it comes to +10 and up. Can you share the setup bud? Thanks a lot!

My current stats without any buffs including Eden.

INT 120 + 12
DEX 120 + 8

 

2x Sapphire Wristband + 20 INT/DEX

+12 Abusive Dex2/3 + 15 DEX ( I can get another DEX if I +13 it or you can get 18 DEX if its Dex 3/3)

+9 Temporal Dex + 9 DEX

+12 Old Midas Whisper DEX 5 INT 5/3 (All stats +1 so total DEX6, INT 9)

CC Hat Costume + 1 INT/DEX

 

The above currently gives me 29 INT and 50 DEX so:

INT 120+42
DEX 120+59

 

Thats 520, I cast Improve Concentration lvl 1 from Abusive robe that gives 4 Dex for 60s, so I'm at 528.

 

I'll get the remainder 1 when I'll +13 my Abusive Robe so I shall leave it as it is right now.

 

But some consideration when I lose my DEX 5 and INT8 from my Midas when I re-enchant it.

 

1. +12 Temporal Dex, gives +3 Dex from my current +9 Temporal Dex

2. Zerom Card 3 DEX or  DL Concentraion 4 DEX ( If you don't mind carding it into your Sapphire Wrist or Mid Headgear)

3. DEX or INT enchants on Old Midas Whisper

4. Dexterious Shadow Set 5 DEX

6. Intelligent Shadow Set 5 INT

7. Eden gives 7 DEX 7 INT

8. Blessing 10 DEX 10 INT

 

If I have to change armor and lose my 15 DEX, I just pop a Siroma for the time being.

Then the player accept his fate and forget the idea of ''effective'' Instant Cast

 

But,if someone is already playing as Gene and already have a Midas,well,+20 food is ''nothing''

       +  2*2        <= well-chewed pencil

       +  2*10      <= dex version of mask of hero/ancient elven ear, probably

 

int   +  dex*2    <= any other stat sources, yadayada

i mean lets be honest, youre gonna be spending a good chunk of zeny/time to get good int/dex enchants on your midas and abusive/flattery; a d6 a/f gives 18, midas can give another 10 

 

if you cant afford those, youre gonna have to buy/brew your own foods

There are plenty other options from equipment alone, and cards as well as long as you are willing to compromise the damage.

 

You will just have to mix and match.

 

Magic Essence/Mettle Midas with DEX 10. <- Lets aim for this!

 

PS: IF you are desperate enough : Stats : INT 130 DEX 130 anyone?

im really torn between mettle and me

 

a realistic lvl5 gives 15% atk vs 15% matk AND -.5s fct

 

its nice to have both but to put as much effort for a measly 15% atk vs instacast acid boms

I would recommend magic essence for now. And switch to mettle when they decide to update the costume enchant stones. Idk if it's WP ignoring our requests or kRO ignoring everyone else, but either way these enchant boxes are severely outdated atm. We started with box #4, then 5 and 6. We don't have #7 and there is nothing new or really exciting about it. Still we would have to wait for #7 to come first to finally get #8 (the one with FCT (garment), aspd1 (slot1), HP & SP Absorb (slot2)). Yup, another year or two. Btw Insta bomb has no skill animation at all.

Don't forget you can always go guildless and join the Arch Wand clan for +1 INT and +1 DEX

15% atk affects CC while matk not. 

 

The insta cast AB looks cool but think twice if you really need one. For example my guilmates use this to compete with enemies in bio5 where they pop token and here the insta AB could effectively allows you to cast 1 or 2 more AB.

 

And not to forget the cost for a lv5 magic essence could possibly huge. A guild mate of mine manage to get magic essence in 3rd slot after using some 1500 fragments.

yes that is the point i was making

 

for the amount of effort you put in, the dps improvement is more noticeable with magic essence.

For example you will need dexterous shadow weapon and armor instead kingbird shadow armor set. That means quite a lot of atk. I noticed a roughly 2k damage difference at 60k damage, which means should be a lot higher when say doing 240k damage to Bijou.

Variable cast time reduction gears stacks multiplicatively from stats. It will help to some extent (with diminishing returns) but it will never reduce VCT to 0, unless ofcourse it's 100% vct reduction like cylinder.
Also, it's 530 = dex × 2 + int.
