Maybe I'm just bad then. I definitely wouldn't be able to do majority of instances using 0 consumables on a low budget RK.

Still, by no means is it worth getting all those gears, only need 35% + strings for optimal damage (unless you are a cheater ^).

How do you get up to 85% with so callled 'minimal' gears? As far as I know, it requires HWHB to be refined at +15, which isn't much easier than getting MVP card even with refine event active. "minimal". And How much is a +15 hwhb? 10? 15b? You pay 1/3 of a Kiel card for 2/3 of its effect. It's still a great value, isn't it? Personally I don't think the extra 3% is worth paying for. 82% is achievable with much less than you would need to gear your gx or gene.

Also if you use Medical Scrub instead of Evil Dragon Armor while keeping HWHB, how do you get leech gears since DB drains SP quickly? Replace TGL by thanatos weapons? That's the differential between having an MVP card and not. 85% without a single mvp is ginormous. But obviously there is a trade off.

I see, I wish I could be as rich as you, talking about 10-15b like it's nothing at all. Also how much would it take to get an ACD 5 Sarah's earring? I spent almost 50 shards of gigantes already and couldn't even get EA 1/2 on my Sarah's earring yet, I would assume that ACD 5 on Sarah's earring is much harder to obtain than EA 1/2.

Delay reduction gears aren't required with strings, unless the stringer's build is bad. Also you can infinite chain DB without cheating. I can upload a video of that if you're interested.

See what I mean, DB RKs are just bad at instances except a few or with billions of zeny worth gear. Also the op later clarified that he wants to solo so strings is out of the question . Yeah he could dual client if during instances but really not practical, would take double time.

Honestly I have no idea. Friend of mine who has godly ping (single digit) couldn't chain with my character using a bunch of gear setups. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I still don't know the perfect combination for me either. But my macro crashing is more annoying than the interruptions :/

having ping makes it a whole deal easier to chain, because the skill gets queued up for a few miliseconds in the server, so your room to hit the correct timing on doing it is ungodly better.

Yes. Keep in mind if your ping is too good then it may be impossible, we didn't test thoroughly.
