Been asking around trying to update things as I get info, no one has figured out the lion yet to my knowledge. Pretty tacky for the event notice to not say what the pets do from the get go. Most games I've played let you know the rewards at the start of the event but let you figure out the quest yourself.

I pm'd cinnamon about it and they said that "campitor is going to look into this if its intended or not"

How much of a pain is it to do the quest?  I've not played RO2 in forever.

You don't need to play it at all, the words you need are in the guide

By dog you mean the Skelion right? The pet groomer at prontera 218, 211? It sells yummy meat, it's what I use to feed my Skelion.
