I've been reading (or not because all  hidden/erased content) this forum and i think we should have a thread or a section where people could openly talk with a not so hard moderation that won't be erasing or deleting a post / thread just because someone said someone else is dumb/ stupid or made memes. I do realize offensive content needs to be hidden and if necessary punishments too, i was a mod before in another forums so i can relate to all of this, but imo it's getting out of controll with all of this thread locking because someone was mean. The other game i play has a thead like the one i'm suggesting and it works, so why it wouldn't here?

There is a difference between large communitys like lol or cs:go where flaming bashing etc is usual and small ones like Ro. In larger coms no one knows each other and it is pretty unlikely that they ever meet again at least at lower leagues you might realize that with pro lvl play this tend to change since they do see or play each other quite frequently ... . Basicly if a group is smaller more people in relation to the size of the group gets affected by it. If you flame someone lets say 200 get affected ( they read , get caught in the drama etc) in lol with 1m+ players thats barely anything with Ro thats a different Matter on top of that drama, flaming, name calling, bashing, etc. is just plain and simple immature , not got sports and just a way to express your inner disfunctional unsozial self on the expense of others... .

What i suggested wasn't any name calling or anything related on, but a place where people could talk without having the thread locked at first "idiot' "stupid" "retarded" word or any meme made. That's why i said "no hard moderation" but there would still be a moderation to act in cases that really needs moderation. Making videos or tag memes isn't offensive yet they still lock threads over this.

The game is competitive, people will always be salty at some point, it doesn't mean every salty post is going to be offensive or a triggle to lock a thread lmao. The past woe threads got locked because of people calling others stupid blablabla, can you see my point? I won't be surprised if the next woe threads get locked way before everyone start posting.

It always gets personal. People can't control themselves. The weekly WoE thread has demonstrated that. 

 

If you can't get your point across and resort to personal insults perhaps these people should reevaluate their own life.

That's where mod should act, on whoever made it personal. When you have a thread where many can post and you lock because of a small group flaming each other is kinda dumb imo, you just stop others to post whatever else they want related to thread's subject because 1 person or a small group.

Please elaborate for me what the insults you uses are exactly good for except Giving the person that is salty becouse of his Lack of skill an excuse to lash out on other to make them miserable Just to feel good about themselfs

I have actually asked about this myself to the CM staff (having a dedicated thread and or section for drama) and the answer is no.
