Basically title. Yes, we don't have garden of eden helmet yet but it is likely that it will arrive in future. What do you think is better for the sorcerer? Old wind whisper provides an immense amount of damage to the Varetyr spear as well as a significant amount of % MATK and on top of that there are enchants (the special matk enchant, when maxed gives something like 33% matk? not sure)

 

Garden of eden, however, provides general 25% damage increase for all spells and 100% mdef bypass

 

Thoughts? Imo it kinda seems that wind whisper is better due to the sheer force

Thanks for the reminder. However, sorcerer, unlike warlock, usually requires player to cycle through spells. Which means that while mdef penetration doesnt matter much for varetyr it is important to keep the damage of other spells high, isn't it?

Varetyr is the most used spell in sorc's arsenal, you can totally forget every other spell if you go to the lenghts of wearing 2x SKR.

I assume you mean elvira carded spirit king's ring?

Elviras are a no brainer. SKR is to bring VS cooldown down to 1s. same as the aftercast delay between sorc spells. At that point, it's not worth to use anything else than Varetyr, at most pwave for extra damage and Killing Cloud for procs.

There is no Garden of Eden on this server right now, and I dont think it will ever arrive on this server. We mages have already received a lot of good gears from OCP, law of average suggests that the chance of getting another OP gear is low.
