I have been told saving again at the kafra should fix it, I did not personally test that thoroughly since then. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Saving in East Kafra results in spawning at ( prontera 271/195 ) which is diagonal from a dead cell aka the lamp post.

Don't feel like testing all the save points and return-to-prontera items (Bwings, Yellow Bwings, Prontera Accessory from 16.1 quest, etc.)
