+7 Flamberge has 185~201 atk, not counting the str bonus.
20% of that is already higher than any flat atk card.

 

Since when does Hydra Card affect Grand Cross?

This was never the case, or has this been changed?

Even my calculator deals 2k less damage when using 2x Hydra Card instead of 2x Zipper Bear

Since a good chunk of years ago, when renewal came out.

Hydra affects ATK, and GC uses ATK+MATK. Any portion that you increase, will increase the skill overall damage. And in renewal is easier to scale up the ATK portion of it, granted the MATK portion will always have the Holy property and have some niche scenarios where it is slightly better/equal.

Why is my damage then lower according to the calculator?

I was also suprised that The Sign is boosting the damage now but even that is less effective than a Ring with Mantis Card

because if you are using irowiki calc, it is not in the slightest correct for 90% of the damage calculations in the game.

And the mantis ring couls be better yes, it all depends on how much atk the % will give you vs the str.
4 str equals to 2% weapon base atk+ 4 status atk. Status ATK is doubled on damage calculation wich makes it 8, and lets say a 150 atk weapon, 2% becomes then 3 atk.
So effectivelly 11 total atk.

5% on the of the before mentioned +7 Flamberge will result in 8~10 atk.

                                                  2x Zipper Bear = 22.050

 

 

The Sign doesn't adds 5%atk/matk, it increases 5% damage to all enemies, so do you still use your base atk for calculation?

% boosts affect your whole wATK, eATK, buff ATK, pseudo buff atk (ice pick effect), and ammunition attack. They dont increase the overall damage, unless its specifically Skill%, Ranged% or Crit Dmg% (even then its not 100% overall dmg, but its simplier to put it that way)

Yeah, but the description of The Sign is wrong, it doesn't adds % ATK/MATK, it deals 5% more damage to all enemies, it has the same script as the Turtle General Card.

Okay, it indeed adds MATK, but the ATK is wrong, it's a damage to all enemies effect

I made one for myself. It's pretty simple to do if you know the formulas the game uses. There isn't a working one for GC as far as I know elsewhere.

Hello guys! I'm new in this forum however I'm an old player of classic ragnarok but new to renewal settings because mid last year 2017 RO EXE launched a revo-classic server RO in my country (philippines) as ROPH so renewal on stats and skill mechanics. If able is there an available GC calculator for renewal to cross check my damage?
