I'm new to this game and i don't really know wich class to take as a main.
I made some nub characters but that's not helping me much.
I'm looking for a class thats can pvp well (pve not THAT important for me as long as i'm able to solo a bit.)
I like classes with swords. Or magic like classes. I also like hybrid classes (being able to heal (myself) being able to buff (myself) and dd (magic or melee)

I have a lvl 10 Rogue now (gonna be a sin.)
Shaman sounds interesting too but i'm wondering if they are good at pvp and wanna know how they play. Are they just a magic nuking class?

You want druid.

It's certainly not the easiest class to play, but it seems to be what you would like.

We have weak heals, defense and crit buffs (and several other buffs that randomly activate on attacks), we throw spells (a couple of them paralyze), and have spells that are based on physical damage. We also have two transformations, one that increases physical damage, and a tank form.

However, there are downsides to druid. Like I said, they're not easy to play. We don't do as much damage as many other classes, we don't have an AoE worth mentioning (some really weak AoE DoTs, but they suck. Don't take them), we level slowly, and all our gear is made for elementalists, we just happen to be able to wear it.

That being said, though, it's a fun class and you can get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Besides, it fits what you're asking for.

Are they good in pvp? And which weapons do they use?

Still wanna know more about how Shamans play too.

druids are the hybrid class of requiem. sux in pvp, generally.

shamans are straight up nukers with some cc and heals, very easy class to play and strong in pvp

Oh and we can perform ok in pvp. Generally we use bludgeon and magic shield.

Most of druids in pvp don't use transformations and have a pure magic damage build...

I think i'll just stick to my rogue (assassin) for now.

Just a few more "random" questions.
-Which weapons do Commanders use? How they do at pvp? (yes pvp is pretty important for me )
-Is there any melee class with magic like skills?
-Which one of the mage classes is most fun to play as? xD

Commanders can use 1-handed swords, axes and bludgeons. Of course, they could also use the 2-handed versions, but this is a quite BAD idea. They are STRICTLY 1-handed + shield class. Swords are the fastest, but deal the least damage, though they help with skill criticals. Axes have nice damage and also help with physical criticals. Bludgeons have the highest damage capacity, they are the slowest and, sadly in S2, provide MPs instead of HPs.

They are not particularly brilliant in PvP, at least not until level 74. This is when you get stun immunity from Adamant Mind and with a proper build and gear can become a strong combatant. Until then, being a melee class, Commanders suffer like any other melee: being stunned and blasted from a mile away, like a sitting duck. After 74 however, we can become the scourge for many casters...

I use Inferno in PvP. I also occasionally use Doomguard in certain situations (generally ion mine/theme battle, sitting near a flag waiting for a sin to try to stun me).

Being able to switch back and forth is very important, I think - especially when you're trying to paralyze lock.
Invisible Arrow > damage spells > Flame Curse Strike > damage spells > inferno mode > raging strike > damage spells then BM mode, or BM mode then damage spells > Invisible Arrow > damage spells.
If the timing is good and if none of them miss, you can get 12 seconds of stun lock (right now I max out at 11 seconds). If you're not doing enough damage to kill them and don't have help, dash > inferno > dash.

Anyway, Inferno is good to use sometimes. With so many people maxing resistance, many often overlook defense. If my spells aren't scratching someone, I'll paralyze them to get close and slice them with Inferno.

I think i'll just stick to my rogue (assassin) for now.

You might actually enjoy Templar. I've not really seen many people play this way after 50, but I've seen some low-level templars wear defense and hp-heavy armor, only take one rank in the ranged single-target spells (for pulling), beef up the personal range AoEs and wield the heaviest weapon they can find. They'll go into AT, pull mobs toward them and beat them up with AA but throw those AoEs whenever the cooldown allows it.

I like swords so i think i like Assassins, Commanders and Warriors more (of the melee classes.)
But i'm kinda looking for most fun mage class to play as.
I read Templars are the healing and support class of the game (and i'm not a big fan of being main healer.)
Buffing and healing r cool ( at least some for myself.)
A versatile mage class that isn't all about nuking. (+good in pvp.)

Templar goes to tempest which is an aoe class. Self heal that can crit and be used every 3 seconds. Good defense potential and 2 aoe crowd control. Only melee-caster is druid. You wear caster armor and use inbetween weapons. It should be played like a melee but ofc comes with heals, long range magic stuns, and a 30m nuke. Nuke is weak but useful.

The red trans(inferno) is dmg upper and fear immune. Blue(doomguard) is tank, higher defense, and stun immune.

Nice fights.
Both seem itnerersting to play. I'm not much of a bludgeon fan but that's not very important.
If i make a commander i'll use a sword.

Also as a tempest, you can take 2 buffs (Blessing of Haste and Weapon of God). BoH decreases attack speed for party, and Weapon of God Increases weapon damage for party (also has DNA to further increase it). Maybe you can consider joining the lighter side of the game. GL to you for whatever choices you make!
