Well there is Bow Rogue and Dagger Rogue.

Both are about equally easy/quick to level, however I'd say Bow Rogue is the easier/quicker one due to the larger monster pool (even without Double Attack) while Dagger Rogue will get you more loot/zeny in the long run.

Also you have no AoE skills, forcing you to mainly level by single target only.

Bowling Bash through Intimidate is a good way of leveling, however without Preserve (Stalker) your leveling maps are limited.

Bow Rogue:
AGI, DEX main stats, INT secondary stat.

+ High damage due to only 2 main stats, faster power spike

+ Larger monster pool due to size modifier of bow weapons (75% dmg large, 100% rest)

+ Double Attack (with Snake Head Hat or Sidewinder Card) + Raging Trifecta Blow Lv 10 = very high single target dps

(however uses up 2 arrows for DA and 3 for RTB, also Lv 5 RTB would be a waste of arrows due to its low dmg being about equal to a regular attack)

+ Fire and Holy element arrows available from the start

+ Bow stat build also compliments the divest skills

+ Can use Berserk Potion for faster ASPD

+ High flee rate due to AGI and Improve Dodge skill

+ Doesn't require many healing items due to flee

+ / - Can skip getting "Double Strafe" skill (Lv 10 via Intimidate), allowing skill points to be used elsewhere

+ / - Can skip getting "Vulture's Eye" skill, only misses out on 10 tiles range and 10 hit, allowing to experiment with other skills (i.e. GET  HAGGLE BEST SKILL EVUR)

- No natural Double Attack, requires card or headgear

- "Less" loot as no auto Gank

- Slightly less DPS on early levels due to attack speed modifier of bows and lack of natural DA

- "Short" range until second class, as Vulture's Eye is Rogue only

Approx. stat build: (can be adjusted as you like)

99 AGI (not maxing might be better, for slightly higher DEX or better VIT)

80 DEX

50 INT (last stat to spam Intimidate skills)

11 VIT (or anywhere else you want)

http://irowiki.org/~...VJkoehN1cAbn1cK

(remaining points wherever you want)

Eq:

Any NPC Bow with elemental arrows.

Undershirt + Pantie combo for AGI and more flee

Lategame aim for Orc Archer Bow (currently not available?) with Steel Arrows (however very expensive, as Steel Arrows can't be NPC bought)

Alternatively a Rudra Bow (currently not available?) will do fine as it has a very high ATK and natural Holy Element weapon while other elemental arrows overwrite its Holy element. (basically all you need are normal and fire arrows, no more silver)

Rudra Bow also comes with Heal and Cure skill, allowing to fully save on healing items due to the high INT.

Dagger Rogue:
STR, AGI, DEX main stats. VIT secondary stat.

+ High early DPS due to high AGI and natural Double Attack with daggers

+ Double Attack + Raging Trifecta Blow Lv 10 = insane single target dps

(can make due with lower RTB levels, however Lv 10 is best regardless)

+ Practically double the loot due to auto Gank skill

+ High flee rate due to AGI and Improve Dodge skill

+ Doesn't require many healing items due to flee

+ Sword Mastery skill also increases Dagger ATK

+ Insane attack speed due to Berserk Potion and Dagger ASPD modifier

+ / - Can use 1-Handed Swords in combo with Sword Mastery skill (however DA requires card or headgear)

+ / - 1-Handed Swords have better size modifiers allowing higher monster pool

- Smaller monster pool, due to dagger weapons size modifier (75% dmg medium, 50% dmg large)

- Slower power spike, as you have to focus on 3 stats instead of only 2.

- Less HIT, due to lower DEX

- No room in skill build due to Gank and Intimidate Lv 10

- 1-Handed Swords have a worse ASPD modifier

Approx. stat build: (can be adjusted as you like)

70 STR

90 AGI

50 DEX

50 VIT

http://irowiki.org/~...0GVJkHEhW3bn1cK

Eq:

Any NPC Dagger

Undershirt+Pantie

Elemental (VVS) Damascus (bought from other players, Fire and Water recommended, as they work best for Dagger Rogue leveling maps)

Gladius [3] carded for hunting maps, 1x size, 1x element, 1x race card, or allround carded with 3x element/race/size

Alternatively 1-Handed Swords, i.e. Sabre [3] carded just like the Gladius [3] above.

Well Morlord posted a lot of info about the 2 main builds lol, however I have a question. Seeing how we have Snake Head here (enables double attack for all weapons), wouldn't it be better to go sword instead of dagger rogue? because of size modifiers and stuff?

I'd say daggers (Gladius [3], Ele VVS Dmcs) are better for the early game and once you hit the lvl 85 wall and need to start mobbing, a Tsurugi [2] or Sabre [3] would perform a better job.

Double Attack difference will be roughly ~200 damage and Sightless Mind can differ up to ~1000 damage. (more dmg for 1-Handed)

You have to keep the difference in ASPD in mind, though Daggers vs 1-Handed Swords are not that far apart from their ASPD on Rogues, you still will be able to kill more monsters in the same time span with daggers early game than with swords.

This is about trying to get the most out of your damage though, so if playing normally you wouldn't notice any difference tbh and if you find 1-Handed Swords cooler to play with (or if you can get a good setup cheaper than a dagger setup) you should totally do so!

Also the Rogue/Stalker artworks do depict them with 1-Handed Swords, so it would nicely fit their theme to go with 1-Handed Swords instead of daggers.

Hi just want to ask,

do you guys think 60-80 dex is enough for divest rogue in WOE?

i mean going 99 on dex is really a lot,  you can allocate it to other stat like vit

the main target will be knight/assasin/monk, that probably don't have much dex right?.

Hunter and wiz have high dex.

Currently I'm thinking is it worth trying to out dex them going 99 dex and waste a lot of stat?

if i go with 60-80 dex even if i my dex is lower the divest chance is still 15% right?

anyone can share their WOE full divest rogue stat?

any tips and strategy for this divest rogue build?

These are my stats for Divest / Recall Rogue. It started with 99 dex then someone a lot better than me came along and told me to make adjustments.

This calculator still has a lot of work to do. This is pretty bare to the bone and I would consider readjusting even more off of bonuses that you're getting from gear, VIP food, and buffs. You could easily drop some points with these buffs and gear in place to allocate even more into a final build. Just words of advice!

p.s.: The build still does look great.

Just wanted to add something for the Rogue Dagger Build:

If you are into power leveling, you can use Hide>Sightless Mind combo since Preserve is not yet available and If you have money to spend you can buy blue pots if it's available in the cash shop then spam it like crazy on mobby maps. Bow Builds can also do this but they lack the weight capacity to carry pots to be able to use the combo contntiously.

Gym Passes/Heavy Lifter are one of the best cash shop things for anyone, especially if WoEing. For any bow class, it allows a lot more room for pots as well as arrows/quivers and anything else. Since you mentioned WoE pots, I figured I'd add that thought.

Sightless Mind is nice, but often if you overmob, you'll be hit while you try to Hide if you aren't careful. The stun/blind components of SM when it is used help reduce the risk of having Hide "interrupted" for subsequent SMs.

Oh I forgot about Gym Pass but it's just not enough based on my experience.

You're right, SM is sometimes hard to execute due to mobbing so we have to make sure to pull off Hide+SM quickly and simultaneously, to do this I press the hide and SM button at the same time. Other method would be to "Sightless Mind Dance" wherein you do a quick Hide+SM then walk, rinse and repeat.

I play in renewal only so I am not sure about the difference on how monsters act but I've been using Hide+SM combo even on Dolomedes(the big annoying spider in New World) which has high atkspd and has the ability to fiber lock and I am still able to get a few hits of SM until it eventually gets stunned allowing me to spam the combo continuously.

However, even with the Gym Pass the dagger/1-handed route might be the easier one to level with in the long run if you completely sack Agi, especially with Bowling Bash via Intimidate you can simply go for a Str, Vit, Dex and a tiny bit of Int to be able to mob and spam Bowling Bash with, seeing as how Rogues are not that desired for leveling parties unless you can be a puller, BB is the way to solo level with.
