Hello, for once I am trying to follow the lore completely and am stuck at Ascension act 20 scene 4. The task roughly says the following "Bellia tells you to go spray the potion near the Oblivion Temple to neutralize the Resurrection potions effects." But when I visit the exact spot that is given in the walkthrough nothing happens as I assume a dialogue should pop-up or something else should happen to complete the current quest. I try to avoid this walkthrough as much as possible but even with the given solution I cant continue.

 

What I have done so far:

• Flew multiple times around the Pyramid
• Brute clicked every single spot around the pyramid
• Flew up and down all stairs to the pyramid
• Abandonded the quest - then reclaimed it from Bellia (2x)
• Logged off, like completely shut down the game
• Stopped playing ROSE for several hours
• Massively clicked the Potion Icon in the quest log, in the hopes something will happen
• Checked my inventory for a possible edible or interactive potion.
• Visited the given spot in the walkthrough several times, by walking, normal running, and being mounted

I am either missing something completely, or the quest does not work as intended

Update

 

Never mind this topic, as of writing this post the quest has been completed by a dialogue that popped up. If anyone is having this same exact problem this is what I did after writing the initial post.

 

• Alt + tabbed out several times from the game
• Summoned 2 swords
• Buffed myself
• Waited till it was night
• Desperately killed 2 Beetles
• Walked out of the water  and walked back towards the Pyramid, wanted to run back to Junon untill suddenly a dialogue popped up in the middle of the sand in front of the Pyramid

I cannot confirm which of the actions taken triggered this diagolue all of the sudden, but apparently a soul for a soul. Also to note, my spot is completely different than the spot given in the walkthrough, so dont solely rely on the walkthrough when attempting the Lore. A note, I have been over this spot several times before when I brute walked every possible spot, but only now I have gotten the dialogue.

 

I have marked this topic as "Not Resolved but completed", as I am unsure if this is intended behaviour or that I am just unlucky with clicking tiles.

Yeah I think the spot either moved or I might have gotten the message while walking towards William and wasn't paying attention.

 

I recently did the quest again and noticed that, but I'm not updating that particular guide anymore

Oh it's fine Zurn, your walkthrough is actually very helpful and I am thankful that you created it. I just try to avoid your walkthrough as much as possible because I want to try it on my own first and if I am completely stuck I take a peak at your walkthrough! I was just rather pissed that I couldn't complete that part of the quest on my own or with your walkthrough for 2 days.

 

Still, I am rather clueless whether this is a bug or just like you said a new placement of the dialogue trigger. But if someone has the same problem they can try whatever I stated in my previous posts because I don't know which of them had triggered the event or not.
