Only way to get a lot of fragments is by killing mvp. There is no way anyone can gather fragments by killing mob and expect a good return, its just not efficient.

They dont, its called RNG. The poster you replied to, Marty, he owns a +16 OBMH. To upgrade a lv.4 weapon or gear to +16, you need to spend around 60-70b worth of HD ores. Did Marty spend this much zeny? Of course not, it was just RNG going in his favor.

lol i just bought like around 300 CFrag for like 1.5Bill. my lvl 3 Affection went all the way to lvl 1 and it just kept exploding down at lvl 1. Power of the grudge indeed.

 

1.5Bill zenny down the drain and all i have left is my crappy heal rate #NotLikethis....

I am sorry for your bad RNG but, why did you get only 300 cursed fragments with 1.5b zeny? Nowadays the price of cursed fragments have fallen and you can easily get it at 3-4m ea, so you should have 400-500 cursed fragments with 1.5b zeny, which increases the chance of upgrading your enchants considerably.

They should have just made it 100% enchant success for us, and called it an "iRO custom" and i woulda been fine. we have far worse customs.

And then he went to buy more and used up 850 today to enchant and went back to lvl 1... Its a sad day indeed 3.3b+ gone

I stop farming myself.. only got like 30 cursed fragment in 10 gums. Totally killed my motivation.

Time to play RG because you should be able to farm around 8-12 fragments/gum ... although seeing how people token bomb MvP, killing mobs has become obtuse. That's why I stopped going there to waste my time. My Bio 5 items are very good already too for current server with dead WoE lol

With the drop event i was getting 8-10 per gum (like 1 in ever 1-3), but after the drop event left, on average I had to kill 5+ to get 1 fragment. Have you tested yourself lately?

We need safe to 3 and safe to 5 certs for upgrading bio5 enchants, kinda similar to how safe to 7 and safe to 10 certs work for refining weapons/gears.

Nope I just did Bio 5 to make a Bio 5 video and that's pretty much. I'm never a fan of PvM

I think 1 gum net me around 9-10 fragments(15min). Without gum every 30min gives 15-20 fragments. Im not sure why some ppl can get lower, it could be the kill count is not efficient. But it seems to me if u have time its better to not use gum because currently the gum price is 6-7m each.
