The following is using a +15 Crimson Katar 2x AK Card

The following is using a +12 JDR 2x AK Card

Regular-----------------------------//

1x Giant's Protection (Gold Scaraba Card), 1x Bako (4.7% boost over 2x Bako)
1x Meginjard, 1x Bako (15.6% boost over 2x Bako)

+13 WDEH Proc-----------------------//
======================================
1x Giant's Protection (Gold Scaraba Card), 1x Bako (3.4% boost over 2x Bako)
1x Meginjard, 1x Bako (12.7% boost over 2x Bako)

As you can see, for anyone who doesn't own a JDR, this equal to or better than a Meg.

If you DO own a JDR, it is 1/3~1/4 of a Meg. A meg is obviously better in the JDR instance due to the extremely large amount of base attack and weapon level, but for anyone using Crimson Katars (or even VM versions), this will trump it.

TLDR, RIP MEG <3 (well at least for most classes whom use one practically, like the RC gx :U)

Nah, I still would personally roll double bako for generic killing, but for Boss killing, I would pop an Enriched Celermine and use a Giant's Protection then.

If aspd is not a problem , 2x gs GP > 2 bakos?

Edit: A better question could be , how gs gp x2 would compare to bako x 2

The real number is pointless, since it will scale depending on your setup, the % increment is purely there to show how much it would perform on your setup :U

no problem at all. only reason i'd consider getting one of these is for gen, given my played classes and their already existing class-specific accessories. im sure the info will come around eventually, but props to this post in any case. very informative!

Just got 2 x giant's protection accessories from vendor selling at 1b each, now I feel like leveling up my GX again who has been stuck at mid ti level for a while.

Honestly, I would recommend one GP+GS and a Bako rather than 2x GP+GS. Namely because 10% ASPD on at least 1 slot is still a high recommendation.

I see. My GX is still in the 120s so ASPD isn't that high yet, and it is pure RC at least for the time being. Thanks for the tip, I will try leveling my GX with GP + Bako for this time being.

Soo since I'm also quite a Noobie I'd like to ask that question here since im wondering. 

My goal is to have a good RC with 193 ASPD as GX. Been working out just fine so far and i'd like to keep it that way.

Currently I am running 2x Bako and can reach 193 ASPD perfectly with Celime/Awake/Guarana.

My FAW has a Cenere card in it. And the Enchants are all Atk based. My stats I'm pretty happy with ( personal preference) but I'm open for any kind of suggestion to improve my char!

 

And finally ofcourse the question: should it be worth it to change Bako for Protection? I'd need to change the FAW enchant to special AGI and 1x ASPD option instead of FS 5/6 for that aswell.

 

Any suggestions are welcome and I'd appreciated anyone who could help me make my decision easier

Atm, the most attacks you can reach is 5 per second, however this requires 193 ASPD and 30% reduction in Skill Delay.

 

If you cannot achieve this, 189 ASPD is all you need. So work from there.

Interesting, so  basically just to confirm there is no difference between 189 and 193 aspd unless I get the Skill Delay, because the delay  doesn't show or the rate of attack doesn't change?

Yeah I'd have to waste way too much just to get the Skill Delay that it certainly wouldn't be worth it. Wow that actually opens up a lot more stat potential if that is the case! Good to know, thanks!

Well its confirmed now, meg + bako beats GP + bako.
