Giant’s protection missing stuff

We’re missing the description for giant lance and giant bow combo with the giant’s protection.
I have not yet tried if it works with the above two items.
Does iRO’s giant protection have the above bonus? Anyone can confirm?

bro you’re missing the point. Giants protection is a key piece to the 3 item combo for Giant lance RK in jRO. It’s very popular right now for RKs without YSF set. Pretty silly to bring in giants set without the working combo because it’s mainly RK item in jRO.

I got it on the list of stuff to poke camp to fix when he has the time, a lot of items were missing set bonuses in this OCP.

Also if you use db it's a lot faster to kill instead of using that sp.

lol. You really got the no-physical RK opinion huh. Okay bro, first tell me which jRO item has been customized for iRO. Then tell me why this isn’t okay when it is part of the item for jRO. And then after all that, tell me how DB is faster when you are alone and without kiel/tao.
The combo does 200K+ damage or so in our server context and is fully spammable based on aspd (user only casts joint beat, which will then proc spiral pierce and sonic wave). A specialized build will be able to churn out 4 of these combos a second. It’s far stronger than normal DB builds and comparable to tao-kiel DB. It also doesn’t have any weakness to shadw/holy that DB has.

It has absolutely nothing to do with being pro or anti Physical RKs. I can remember of Magician's Glove being customized, but I'm under the impression that it's not the only item.

If it’s about that then honestly we shouldn’t even have celine brooch or magician glove because fenrir card etc gets devalued too right? No MVP card comes close to magician glove’s value too. Now, my point in saying this isn’t to say mages don’t deserve it, i basically don’t care. My point is that saying MVP get out valued and thus item should be customized is a moot point because it already happened with on multiple occasions and this shouldn’t be a reason why it can’t be the case for the giant set with its combo effects.

Normally you could equip a couple of them and have a better effect than a High Wizard Card, and Fenrir Card was devalued for in-game stuff (Magic Essence enchant) before cash shop. Also, MDEF Scaling was completely broken and that justified bringing these items (though they could change the affected MVP Cards to compensate).
But as I said, IF THIS WAS REALLY INTENDED, which we don't know, what you said about it, making a Physical RK stronger than a DB RK with a couple MVP Cards and without the inner weaknesses of DB (despite having to review your build and being single target, because if we could get that numbers here it would be akin to a spammable weaker Crushing Strike), seemed a decent enough reason from my point of view to justify it.
Also, at this point, I'm not against they buffing RK, not after what they did with Geneticists. But as the game is getting more and more about isolating yourself and dealing absurd damage numbers to feel good and sometimes show off, they could release Infinity Space and other contents like this.

Nothing justified anything about bringing them in.

I’m not here to debate with you about what’s justified and what not. You’re obviously very fixed on your opinion. Just in case you still think it’s OP, i need to remind you that several 3rd classes has spammable skills doing over 100k+ dmg per cast.
Now my thread here is very clear. Giant protection has 3 combo set, only 1 is listed here. You are not the person i’m asking if this is right, nor are you contributing to whether if it is tested to work. At this point you’re just distracting with your opinion i care less about. Want to debate about what -_- is OP please go make your own thread about it.

if we get the combo as described in the link, I'd definitely reset my ranger to 120str/dex.

Hell yeah, that would give you 50 EATK, 5% ATK, 12% Ranged damage ANDDDDD the big momma, 15% Aimed Bolt Damage. That -_- is good on a skill that already can do millions :X
