From looking at the vend history of some of the merchant selling those at 400k, it would appear to be guild merchant/new merchant just reselling. There was no elu this morning so my guess is everything has been getting bought out for resell to crank up the price. Classic market manipulation, which with the current Zeny inflation is very easy to do for some individual.

 

My recommendation, don't buy into and go hunt your own elu, Raydric, Obsidian, Stal golem are all good source that can be hunted at lvl 80+ with the right gears.

Well at 4.3m per 100kp if you consider 30kp for an enriched elu from the shop or 15silver vine + elu that means an elu/ori = 15kp is like 720k or something so 400k is a good deal. Especially for the people who pay $1 for 10m then use that to buy the silvervine box and elus.

In like a week prices of things have gone insane. Ray cars went from 5-8mil to 20mil +. Bathony cards. earth deleter cards. Gear, even Elu went from 40k to 180k. WTH????? If this is what the future holds for RO, then bring back the bots. I refuse to buy any of these things at current prices and from the looks of things, they are not going down any time soon. All this will do is drive off players. As it stands right now? Im on a buyers strike.  

 

I remember the first few years of RO that was almost bot free. Most the time I never saw high end items for more than 5mil.

 

The reason for this is items sold to npc causes inflation. When this happens 24/7 by thousands of bots, it causes mass inflation. Then as someone said when they finally have active bot banning, it will cause a market supply shortage and increase in demand for items, which is why item prices rise so high. If people don't buy these items due to high prices, the prices will slowly drop back down. But in order for the prices to slowly drop back down, the bot situation needs to stay managed. Otherwise the mass inflation will just keep happening which destroys the economic system.

 

The only solution is a long term solution of active bot banning... and given the activity history of the ban hammer, it seems to only come in waves... thus not really being a solution.

Because noone buying KP, all goes RMT/or use bots. But all need Silvervines.

That's why Silvervine so overpriced.
