Bug Report: [Event] Revolutionary Uniform (1-Day) & [Event] Loyalist Uniform (1-Day)

We've gotten a few reports regarding the [Event] Revolutionary Uniform (1-Day) & [Event] Loyalist Uniform (1-Day) costumes. These are only based on collected information. 

 

1. Despite being labeled as (1 Day), they don't seem to expire

 

2. They cannot be sold to NPC, they cannot be destroyed either. So they continute to fill up precious bag space. You can write a request to Support to delete excess costumes you don't want/need. Or you can also temporarily turn of your pet's auto loot function, so you don't get more costumes. These are optional, of course.

 

3. Both costumes seem to cause issues when worn by Female Xenoa characters. It will cause your client to crash, and you will get the Requiem.exe error. So far, the confirmed job classes that are affected are Avenger, Elementalist, and Ranger. Though some say that all of the Female Xenoa Job Classes are affected. You will need to send a ticket to Support to regain access to your affected character. I also suggest to refrain from wearing these costumes on your Female Xenoa until a permanent fix is applied, so you can avoid the Requiem.exe error and continue playing with your character. Other characters may also be affected by the Requiem.exe error if they are on the same screen as the affected Female Xenoa on the character selection. Once the affected character is fixed, you should be able to access your other characters normally.

 

*There is another Requiem.exe error surrounding the costumes, but it is still unconfirmed if Transmogrification/Costume Swap has anything to do with it. Unfortunately, Support doesn't seem to be able to fix this one, and if you are experiencing this error, you will need to wait for it to get fixed.

 

 

This is what we know so far, and the suggestions listed here are just that, suggestions. It is still your choice if you want to try it or not.

 

Feel free to add your input, but I request that everyone keep their responses constructive and beneficial to finding out details of the issues listed here. These have been reported to the Requiem Team already, and this post is intended to give out suggestions to players, and temporary workarounds until the issues get resolved. Any and all destructive and unrelated comments will be deleted without warning.

Alright boys and girls! I've received word that the issue with the costume should now be fixed. Try to log out then log back in. You may find out that most of your 1 Day Event costumes are gone, which means they should have already expired. 

 

If you are still unable to dispose of the said costumes, or if they continue to cause Requiem.exe errors, please comment below, or send in a ticket to Support so that the Requiem Team can look into it further.

 

If there are any kind souls that can confirm if the issues described here have indeed been fixed or not, that would be awesome.

They are still in 5 bags of my alt. i have sent 2 tickets but after sending both, i can not view the ticket or ticket number so not even sure support are getting it. 

 

I assume like you said Heliums suggestion would be to turn off 2nd pet loot option so it didnt pick up bound on aquire items but the problem with turning this off is the pet will still try to loot the item, leaving the loot box stuck on your screen and will not pick up other boxes unless you loot the item or manually close, leaving the only option to put pet loot off completely and manually loot which defeats the purpose of the pet. This is a on going problem for many years.

i guess you have to go out without my "Feedback" then by your Definition it would been "destructive"

I thought about that too regarding the pet (turning pet loot off completely), that is why I suggested it as optional, just a temporary workaround to avoid getting the bags clogged until the items are fixed. I'll let Support know that the costumes didn't go away. And I'll try to bump up that issue with the stuck loot box window with the Requiem Team.

Hi Sandyman. It's not my really definition. If you check the [ Rules of Conduct ], as long as your posts and comments are within those guidelines, you're good. I know that Requiem is, in a way, a different game from the rest, and that a lot of players want to air their complaints and concerns, but the forum rules apply to everyone who post in here.
