So I've dug around in the past, and thought I found some solutions. But searching now isn't leading me to anything concrete.

Any time I try launching my game on 3440x1440 resolution, the "cannot init 3d3 OR grf file has problem" shows up.

I have a Predator X34 monitor, and was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to resolve this error. Would love to play this game at this full resolution, and have seen screenshots of it.

As far as I am aware of, RO doesn't support resolutions higher than 2048 × 1536 because it uses Direct3D 7, would you PM me said screenshots?

I've been looking since I've made this post for screen shots. I know I've seen a screen shot of a ultra-wide monitor without any borders, but can't seem to find any now.

I'm guessing this is something that is not going to get resolved until kRO actually updates their client to work with 21:9. And even then who knows how long it'll take to get to our local client here.

Even 2048 × 1536 refuses to work. Highest I can go is 1920 x 1440. Anything above that gives the crash error.

You may have seen screenshots from an addon that used to work called "roEXT", it would remove boarders and allow all sizes of screen resolution. I believe this addon has been broken since iRO began implementing anti-bot measures in the exe files of the client.
