As mentioned topic above, are WP team really serious in increasing the currency exchange rate to WPE?

Do you know how much impacts to WP company if you all out-of-sudden increase the currency exchange rate to WPE, without any announcement???

Campitor/ WP/ CM, can you explain this, why increase the rate out-of-sudden?

 

Was thinking to purchase some WPE to gamble some luck and but after looking the new exchange rate, OK.. puppy this. I better get myself decent meals for like a week or something  better than for the game, with the additional rate...

 

I guess not only me (+my country mates) will be affected in this.. for other countries/ currencies.. please check and comment here...

Usually, I will buy my WPE via AsiaPay..

Somehow, WP replaces AsiaPay with Xsolla/other payment methods (i am not sure whether is this the permanent replacement or just temporary, since I saw other thread commenting on this too), not sure when they actually implement this. 

 

With the new payment method ("Xsolla/ other payment method"), somehow to purchase the same WPE, I need additional 100 MYR+ compared to previous rate, which this is totally unacceptable.. 

 

If you were me, do you think you will still buy WPE for further events/ OCPs??

There is a report stating AsiaPay and PayEasy are missing, this was reported to the staff to investigate, since it is/was weekend we may not have an official response till Monday or Tuesday.

As far as I know, the rates are not determined by WP, also Xsolla is not new.

China's economy going down is also dragging everyone else in the eastern side of Asia

On our case, my country's loans and debts has increased by double digit percentage probably triple so purchasing power is trash= expensive af WPE

....

It should never the case here.. seeing MYR is too unstable for consecutive two years, with dropping currency exchange rate each year.. are you suggesting WPE exchange rate should increase every year too?

 

Also, currency exchange issue and discussion had been around in the forum since last year or last two years.. but WP team maintains the rate for like three years+.. so, please stop stirring this issue around...

Hello.. CM. I do know the AsiaPay and PayEasy is down and investigation is underway.

Currently they replace AsiaPay with Xsolla payment method to enable WPE payment for those SEA players in urgent needs.. 

 

Do you know the replacement is temporary or permanent?

As for the concern, we do not have info about the situation yet. A few weeks ago said payments were having issues and the staff were able to resolve them and restore the options appropriately.

 

In addition there is no official news about this, I'd ask to wait patiently for a follow up

been using AsiaPay for awhile too.. so.. meh.

 

Anyway, the concern here is not the change in payment method.. instead, the exchange rate of WPE is lesser.

I just wanna know whether the change is temporary or permanent.

For Malaysian, Asiapay option is way cheaper than paypal. Forgot exactly what's the rate but Asiapay is much affordable. IIRC, it was RM15 for 500wp if you're using Asiapay; and if you're paying with paypal, after the conversion it's RM20 (with current exchange rate)

Yes it is fixed. What makes you think that I can afford to live off noodles to buy cute hats   If it's following the conversion rate I can't even eat noodles anymore, I would be drinking the air instead

I am unsure whether the Asiapay option is there for Sgporean? Last time I checked with my SG friend (which was like 1 year+ ago) I think there is no Asiapay option. Not sure for now though

WP has the standard price of 10$=1000WPE

any price offered by the regional payment methods is not up to WP, but solely for them to determine.

Why dont u make a new account solely for wpe purchase. I mean we all have 1 or 2 account solely for vending. 1 more is not that hard.
