So I was recently leveling a monk.
As solo leveling with no supply restriction, Anubis seems to be the fastest place to level.

It takes 1 x G.Fist cast to kill Anubis.
Each G.Fist, based on my stats, I typically need 4 Blue Potions.

So I was wondering, if I use a Battle Manual to boost an additional 50% exp from base Anubis exp (which is 28,000 at 100% rate), I would definitely need lesser number of G.Fist to level (higher exp per G.Fist).
This in turn will save me the number of Blue Potions required. i.e. 4 Blue Potions per G.Fist I save = some zeny save!
However, Battle Manual also introduce some costs!

Then it occurred to me the question of:
"How much effectively I can save from Blue Potion use by having Battle Manual always activated?"

So I did some math on this and got the result.
Mind you, this result is totally expected, and by no means an impressive discovery.
Nevertheless, here it is.

Non-VIP vs Non-VIP+Battle Manual
Verdict: You need to be killing one Anubis every 15 seconds for the cost of Battle Manual to breakeven with your saving on Blue Potions use (i.e. 4 no.'s with every G.Fist)
Any slower kill than 15 seconds each, you better off without Battle Manual cost wise.

VIP vs VIP+Battle Manual
Verdict: You need one Anubis kill every 11.25 seconds! Even shorter time!!!

Summary:
Given there's a 10 seconds window in between G.Fist, using Battle Manual will not save you any cost from having to use lesser number of Blue Potions.

But hey!
Battle Manual lets you level 33% faster for Non-VIP, and 25% faster for VIP!
Definite worth it if time is gold for you!!!

Just sharing my other relevant information from the math I did as below:
At 200% exp rate, and needing 4 Blue Potions per G.Fist, 1m exp will cost me 540k zeny with 2.5m per Silvervine100 rate.

Then it gets worst comparatively.
Having to use only 3 Blue Potions per G.Fist, this means you save lesser number of Blue Potions relatively.
You'll need one Anubis kill every 8.44 seconds for VIP, while non-VIP will need 11.25 seconds.

But of course if you look in total cost, you'll save more than someone like me who has to use 4 Blue Potions per G.Fist. xD

I leveled in Anubis for a bit only so far on my laptop.
Couldn't really collect reliable data.
I haven't got a stable connection to do a proper one anyway.
Frequent lag and dc's.
Wait until I'm back to my hometown and able to play at my desktop.

Last night 2 of us (lvl 98 knight and me lvl 94 monk) were doing about 12m an hour with exp event and vip (225%) and BM.
