Maestro Base Stats (Raise over 80 if got reductions for more than 10+):
  • INT: 50+X (only for Geneticist)

So if you're brewing using a Genetic, this is how much int you want on your Maestro for you to be able to get the most out of the MC stat bonus due to the 130 stat limit?

 

With all the info I've gathered,I came up with this build:

 

Base Stats

STR - 70
INT - 115
DEX - 120
LUK - 90
VIT - 81

another tip since there's a unlimited stat reset:

 

remove all equips

reset your brewer stat: all becomes 1

use marionette control with 120 dex and 120 luk and X int base stat

re-equip all your equips

add all points to luk-dex-int

use buffs

use food buffs

brew away. :heh:

I did not do exact calcs on geneticist. My gene still under 175 (165 or so) but, I have prepare a final build for being brewer + MVP Killer. Considering the following things:

  • Use of Seraphim Coronet (int 120)
  • Use of Temporal Dex (dex 120)

The result is this build:

  • STR: 75
  • AGI: 1
  • VIT: 50
  • INT: 120
  • DEX: 120
  • LUK: 95

There are some variations with a bit lower LUK to have some agi. but at least i wont use agi on my brewer hibrid. and taking the Skill three, i have to use many skills from geneticist on biochemist to achieve the brewer build.:

This is awesome, I'll copy your build then. Because of your guide, I have started creating other alts required to be a successful brewer, I'm currently working on the Linker and am having fun with the Esma Bolter build :heh:

Can you achieve 100% breweing with this (isn't luk a bit low)? Thank you for this, I'm actually making a Brewer Gene and was wondering how should I proceed with stats. :)

Manteau with green maiden (-5) Total = 112

Harmonize (-30) Total 82.

Marionette Control (Assuming base LUK = 99 on Maestro, half 49 points, cant give over 99) Points to 99 = +17

 

You quit manteau, cracked buckler, harmonize, all is converted to positive (122 LUK Base with job bonus, +5, +5, +30, +17) =  179

 

Same with LUK 95

 

Job level (assuming job60, it will be LUK+2) Total = 97.

Putting the Cracked Buckler (-5) Total = 92

Manteau with green maiden (-5) Total = 87

Harmonize (-30) Total 57.

Sweet actually! I did not calculate this. Hehe This would work fine for food cooking right?
 

Plus, can't you go lower luk in case you make a MC slave Maestro (with like 120 luk - my case)? I could get 60 luk from MC. In the end would be the same 179, but would be able to get more of others stats to make pvm easier. Hehe

If you do the calculation and u found can reach good sucess, then its good. 

 

For cooking its enough already, even I just use my gears + marionette and gloria and its enough, without gloria its enough too. there is a point when you start brewing 110% and 120% sucess in foods, The exact value of sucess needed its unkwown. Irowiki has good gessing numbers, but WP never release the exact formula.

 

The hardest thing to brew are the slims and glistening coat. You can find ur sucess brewing 100 or 1k glist.

Special Pharmacy, wich is the highest amount of stats needed to be perfect (perfect = 12 items brewed every use) needs something along the lines of 270int 270dex and 290 luk

Just want to thank OP for this guide. I tried brewing myself and I enjoyed it :heh:

 

With a level 150/41 Genetic and -_-ty equipment:

Overall I got a success chance of 70%, this is w/out MC just Priest buffs. Now I can farm instances.

really a good post by OP for new brewers, personally i yet to try out brewing on gene since i just leveled my gene to max 175 yesterday. And i just got access to a 175 maestro. Likely will do some calculation if i have time for RO again.

It is no longer necessary to be so complicated.

This is probably like 110% or something but you also don't need to do any monkeying around with MC slave and gear swapping.

 

Just buffs and probably more +20 food than necessary. I just took the screenshot for ridiculous stats. - Just plugged the stats into calc and subtracted all the foods and its still 100%

 

Actually, you might not even need to dual client XD

 

OMG already received a lot of suggestions to improve. 20 more luck incoming.

My latest calculation on brewing for gene to make slims,the best rate is at 126.6% with AB buff and Maestro Link. (strictly no god hammer) 

Without AB/Maestro/Food, I can still achieve 115.1%. Which mean, i can safely brew slims/gc easily without many client~

Cracked Buckler no longer needed~ can save that 100 weight for better choice~
