Hello hello, i was on the EU server before death, and before migrating on this one, so expect a bit of poor english here and here, but it should be good overall.

I'm going to do a list of some ideas, or change based on what the old EU did before death, concerning medals and quests. I'm putting everything in an order i consider "most easily realisable" to "most hard", ready ? Go :

Quests level limitation (not sure if it's gone):

This first one is maybe done already, and i haven't seen it, but as far as i remember, there was a quest level limitation in the game, meaning that one you passed a certain level about a quest level, you couldn't do it anymore. My suggestion is easy, getting the limitation off, i don't see the point of keeping the limitation.

exemple, if you are lv 85, and a lv6 quest come out for beginners, can we do it ?

Achievement verification :

Again i can be wrong, but it's pretty simple, verifying if a medal or more were removed from the games, if not, then no problems, but if some were, maybe only adding them, that's all.

Achievement obtainable :

A bit tricky for this one, but since the EU done it before, i guess it's possible. Some achievements are locked and can't be obtained anymore, 2012 balloon event and others. Before, the EU done created a box that was, okay, extremely pricey with silver coins, gada, or gold coins, but were used to obtain with a small chance, thoses medals, it can be a good thing to make them available again.

Quests :

Last suggestion, similar to the medals, if no quests were deleted from the game, you can pass this part, but if some quests were, maybe putting them back in the game, changing the objective maybe for that, or if nothing have to be changed.


That's all the suggestion i was thinking of, that game is amazing, and i'm truly glad to see that this server is still intact and extremely well populated, maybe my changes aren't really interesting, but i think it's a good thing to do.

All undone quests can still be completed at higher levels. The only level limitations that exist for quests is that you have to reach certain levels to get certain quests.

 

I really like the idea of having the possibility to farm old medals. Hope the DS team will make it possible.

I think their plans is to give out old medals that give achievement points out at appropriate times. And just a small hint: you are using the comma way more than you're supposed to in English, I know cause I do too and it's hard to learn away from it

Ahah, yeah, it's a bit flawed ! And what do you mean by that ? I talk about medals that don't give achievement point too

I would like to be able to get the old achievements too. I don't know if the best way to implement that is to make them tradable with Silver Coins, though. I think making players achieve something specific for each old achievement would be more appropriate. But the Silver Coins way would still make me happy.

Well thanks for all the responses for now ! Look like peoples especially like the idea of getting old medals back, for me it's the best idea, too, with the one of putting back quests

The only quests that has a level cap are a very few low level repeatable quests and the weekly quests (though I doubt many people know about them) so that's not something big you'll miss.

And yaaaaay for the medals !

New ideas ! for special medals that posess a date, like 2015, simply remove the date !
