Just started the game some hours ago, updated to the most recent patches but all items recieve, pick up or see from merchants are lacking any sort of information.
Most items use the same icon or aren't using any at all. The items are either named 'Unknown Item' or just lack a name. All items are also devoid of any descriptions.
I'm new to this game so, please, if this is not a bug, instruct me on how to identify these. If it is a bug and has been resolved point me in the right direction.

actually, never mind. the patch released right after i posted this fixed my problem.
