With the advent of OCPs and a plethora of other unsatisfying factors that are likely to ruin what was intended to be an event to bring people together for fun times, the Secret Odin Event as hosted by me is canceled for this year and the foreseen future. I'm sorry if anyone was looking forward to me hosting the event this year. Many thanks to those of you who have participated in my silly annual event for the past 4 years. It was a lot of work to get it organized every year, but the end result has always been worth it.

That's not to say someone else cannot take up the mantle of host if he/she so chooses. Don't even have to follow my format if you don't want to. But if no one wishes to continue this annual event, well, that's that.

It was fun while it lasted, but alas, all good things must come to an end.

Thanks Tigress, this was one of the best ideas for this game ever in my opinion. I always missed it, but thought it was an excellent community builder. The player community is changing, and not in a way I find acceptable. You started this the year I joined the game; peace Alfather! A toast with mead in the high halls, to warm memories of times and holidays past, in the company of good friends!

People also already lost the interest. The 2013 Secret Odin was great and lots of people participated and the 2016 Secret Odin was quite empty and much less crowded. Its a great event and a creative idea.

After FrostKing got kidnapped during the first Secret Odin, I've been toying around with the idea of doing a "Rescue the Sandy Claws" event where Santa is kidnapped and you must figure out where to find him in Niflheim from clues I give out in Lutie. But it would be kind of unfair to newer players since they wouldn't be able to survive in Niflheim.

Ah... So this is it then. I totally was thinking of another grand letter to write to Odin for this year's event but then life says otherwise

Huge thanks to you, Zero, for having hosted the event from such early year since I joined the game.

I had fun pouring my creativity into the letter I wrote to (secret) Odin for participation.

Obviously thanks as well to all my four Secret Odins whose compassion is a blessing for me.
