Hey, I am looking forward to looking that pretty.

So, is there a real possibility of bringing them here? If affirmative, could we get a time estimative or something?

Some people believe gravity will make the jRO Sprite the new sprite for the rebirth/Lv.185 update they're planning, keep in my mind this isn't confirmed, but there's a real possibility of bringing them, just don't expect it too soon on iRO cause Gravity :x

Actually it is just mere speculation and the chance of this happening isnt even close to as good as some ppls are thinking. Also not everyone is fond of the jRO sprites, or at least some of these sprites. For me I like a few sprites but dont like the others, it'd be annoying to force everyone to accept jRO's aesthetics. Would be better if they come as alternative sprites that players have a choice to choose between the original and jRO versions.

it would be a very lazy and frustrating thing to make them "next job sprites".
and, at least on jro, they're costumes that don't interfere with the main sprites (just as we dye our clothing here, optional, but available).
have iro ever implemented anything from jro? I can't tell if it's a viable option or not.

Its a grey area. You can do QoL GRF edits as far as I know. There were a lot of accusations back in the day that people were somehow modding their client to make guild leaders look larger than other players, but I have never seen evidence of it. If any use of GRF editing is illegal it would be that kind.

 

But the whole point of changing your appearance is so that other people can see how kawaii you are. Doing it just for yourself is lame.

I think a lot of people sprite edit, some publicly and some not. I am 99% sure WP has stated that it was illegal, but if people can publicly get away with it then it must be legal.

misleading which actually meant other people's sprite or is jRO sprite grf actually illegal? hmmmmmmmm

 

i removed mine after a week, i got bored of it honestly   it felt very odd getting what i want lmao

 

Edit: oh okay i got it, the phrase "can be viewed" makes it neutral i suppose, a gray area in a gray area?!

Now now now, that was just an optical illusion due to the time delay and solar winds acting up at the time. Also, my maximum heal is no longer maximum heal, people can outdo it instantly.

Editing the sprite of a character (chibi, jRO classes look..etc) is not permitted.

Personally looking forward for the alternative sprite options, will check on this eventually with the staff.

They have kindly stated that will come to iRo in a future update, no further updates have been made regarding this.
