Need suggestions for better gears.
Currently hitting 28k-30k (requires 6 hits to kill 1 big bell)

 

Budget is around 2b (Can eventually add more if I sell my GX's gears)

Current gears:

Upper: +7 Cylinder

Armor: +10 Evil Dragon Armor [1]

Weapons: +9 Hurricane Fury [ea 3/4, Archer Skeleton], +9 Erde [EA 10, Archer Skeleton*2]

Garment: +9 Fallen Angel Wing [EA 10, Deviling]

Shoes: +4 Temp str [SoL, EA4]

Accessories: Keraunos 2*

 

+4 shadow set

succubus pet

 

Stats: 

STR 120

VIT 96+4

INT 90

DEX 75

 

Looking for the most cost-effective improvement for my set-up. 

 

Priority is to survive and be able to take on huge crowds of mobs without PK since I'd like to have something that also works for my dieter gene.

 

Should I get +9 DR HBP and +12 immune shield instead? or just +9 DR FAW and a penomena shield?

 

For damage, will a +15 2*AS crimson mace be comparable to my Hurricane Fury?

I think the best gene weapon for NTC is +9 Thanatos Hammer HF since Big Bells hurt pretty badly. I didn't spend a single potion with this set up and had 70ish VIT.

 

+7 CHB

Tengu Set

+10 EDA (Bathory/Evil Druid)... Since Big Bells' shadow attacks

+9 Thana Hammer

+4 Penomena Valk... Racial shields are amazing

+9 FAW EA10 DR

+7 Temp Str Boots EA/BP but SoL boots do really help you

2x Sapphire Wrists

+5 Malicious Shadow Set

White Gold Shield/Royal Guard Shield

 

Have at least three leeching sources, you can include a Pet if you don't have access to Tengu Scroll or Mali shadow set.

how is the damage? I'm concerned it will take up a lot of grinding time. That would work if you're not using BMX3 since you want to kill more in shorter span of time.

Use Sera's Painkiller and DR Etran, Big Bell will hit you 1 HP each time.

thana leech is not needed since you can easily reduce their damage/increase your damage to the point the few other leech pieces will take care of all the healing.

but there would be very unlucky moments where your hp will be so low before any leech procs. Happens even as a GX with plenty of leech gears. 

 

Anyway, I guess I'll be running different set-ups for when I level up my dieter. Should I go for a cheap penomena shield or a +12 immune shield? will a +9 erde 2AS ea10 be fine? I'm worried I won't be able to clear mobs fast enough to maximize bmx3 when it's up.

You could always switch to the leech weapon or pot though those situations.

Around 45k, 60k with BP. That's why you need to know how to kite.

 

Edit: well, if you are worried about BMX3 timers get yourself a GMS and go Bio4.

I just bought tengu set and our main differences would only be the accessories (i'm using 2* keraunos) and weapon (+9 AS HF ea7). How come I can't even reach 35k average? I'm going around 31k-34k

Have you used the spell shield correctly? It should show a 7min buff when correctly activated.

Oh. I didn't count the shields. I just checked, would that add significantly?

 

I tried leveling earlier and I can reach 35k but not most of the time. There are instances where I still need 6 hits to take down big bells

Can you post screenshot with gears? 20 Int makes a decent dps difference.

Here are my gears. Shadow gears are just 30% exp and +4 maliset.

BTW, what's the white gold shield for? And isn't shield spell random? Don't you have to keep casting Shield Spell so you can get the buff?

Your INT is low I think, though I don't how much difference 20 INT points would make in this set up of yours. Why don't try out some INT foods before increasing it by reset?

 

At least for me it sounds unwise to go NTC without a shield and wearing nothing to counter their shadow attacks on top of a DR (further boosting them).

 

The thing with Royal Guard Shield is to cast Shield Spell lvl1 and swap to a high DEF shield (White Gold/Gaia/Anemos) midcast since Shield Spell ATK bonus is based on shield DEF. Yeah, there are other buffs but the one you are interest is this one so you cast/swap until it pops in your Alt+Q. The ATK buff duration is also based on shield DEF. I use White Gold Shield and it lasts for 7 min, Gaia/Anemos a bit longer.

I went NCT on a gene yesterday for keks I did around 85-90k, my gears were
+7 CHB
tengu set
+10 deadly eda
+15crimson (no cards)
+12 mad bunny
+9 menblatt ea10 faw

+9 Temp str EA/BP altough LD wud be better since i can kite them
2 x sapph wrists with gold scaraba
And pyro, although without pyro I did 70 - 75k

Have you tried without menblatt? I don't think I can survive without DR even with pain killer. Also, around how much do the sapphire wrists add to your damage? I'm trying it out in the calc and it doesn't seem to give you a lot.

ya as i mentioned its +15 crimson mace, ill try do what u requested but dunno when i can go NCT again. What is ur level? ill try to use similar lvl gene, the one i took to NCT earlier was 173.

Yes I was, I forgot about those lol +9 physical, +9 formless shadow set,+9 dex shadow armor. Atk+1% and hp leech Rudra.

Quess i should also had Eden Buffs, Takoyaki, +20 Str, Luk foods running(i use those all the time and i forgot not everyone does the same)
